  1. I use the Garmin Nuvi 500. I swear by it. Works great as reg car gps and as geocaching gps you can find them refurbished for under 200 bucks! there is a 550 but the one you want is the 500. both me and my brother have one. You can also get aps for smart phones if you have one. the droid app c:geo is great and free! Hope this helps. AL/Cha Bo
  2. I did not know about clicking the icon either. THANKS! problem solved for me.
  3. I agree with both points. I would like to see the attribute but yes when someone is contemplating going after a cache that remote they should be able to figure out how long it would take for themselves but way too many will go after a cache without reading the whole description first. Just like TB's that are to go do something and then return home, many have picked one up and said I am bringing it back for you right after It was started it and not even left the state yet. Oh and AZcachemeister,,, "I've seen them out there trotting up the trail as I wheeze along wishing for a flat spot" I have had those excact thoughts! LOL and I will be using your quote! "Oh!, but I am mad! As are we all. Only in our shared madness can we claim any degree of sanity" LOL
  4. I really like the improvments having the choice of terrain, map, sat. etc... is really kewl! But I miss being able to click on it and it opening a new page that I could surf around and find more caches in that area. Great job thanks for all the hard work you guys put into the website. I for one appreciate it, I just can't spell it. LOL
  5. I miss being able to either zoom out or in or click on the lower picture when looking at a cache. Sometimes when I am looking at a cahe I have surfed into I want to zoom out to see where it really is at. I just had a TB get placed in a cache and I wanted to see where it was in relationship to the area and had to go through 4 steps instead of one. JM2CW thx batleth
  6. I think it would be fun if you could make it possable for owners to see who is watching your travel bugs. On a couple of my travel bugs I see There are users watching this listing. As the owner of the travel bug It would be fun to know who thinks my travel bug is worth watching it travel.

  8. I know I can 'Find caches along a route' but I can not find a link to it on the gc website so I can make one. This is a DNF for me where is the page 'Find caches along a route' thx
  9. I am new to GC and TB and have only had a couple of TB's but have already contacted a couple of cachers for help fulfiling TB requests and I just thought I could offer to help someone else if I could. I live in Coos Bay, Oregon and will be heading over to I-5 and then down to Disneyland and around So Cal and would be more then happy to help if someone needs to move or have a TB request done. I will be leaving here sat 3/6 and will be down there for a few days so let me know if I can help. AL / Batleth
