I just lurk......a lot

All our personal coins contain a mistake - - - our caching name. It should actually be "The 4 Fs", but I was "apostrophe-happy" when I registered in the geocaching site after finding our first caches. By the time I realized it was incorrect, it was too late. Oh well!

I recieved this email from them and apparently their will not be any black handled coins. They gave me the opportunity return them, but I am keeping them. They were real apologetic about the mess up. This must be a real headache for them.. Our factory outsourced these coins and they use a different color chart and just messed it up. After talking with several customers we have decided that we are not going to do replacements. So there are no black handled versions floating around out there. That would be fine if there were just one grip color out there, but there's 2 (red and green) and it certainly does not explain the 2 different finishes (copper and antique silver).

I have a Copper/Magenta grip MOGA which I would love to trade for a Silver/Green grip MOGA.

Any update on this coin?.....cant wait to get my hands on it.

I agree completely. Would have preferred green w/silver. Red w/copper not so good. I was also looking forward to the black grips.

Mission #2 (Jose's mission) hasn't arrived yet. I really hope it gets here! I got my brother back into coins and encouraged him to participate in the mission. Hoping it doesn't turn into a letdown for him!
