  1. The 60CSX was LESS than the Vista HCX? Now that's unusual! Nono... I think he was saying that although the other was less expensive, he chose this one because of the features and it was the one he really wanted. I think. ~Ariel Yeah I think thats right Ariel-By the way I just ordered my 60CSx from walmart-should have it in 7 to 14 days, man I can't wait,WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. So when I become a premium member I'll recieve text to my phone also?
  3. Are you using a "real" serial cable, or a USB-to-serial adapter? Real serial cable-found the problem, connection at GPS wasn't completely seated, maps are now on GPS and I can see all my roads-Yippie,what a relief, thanks 2 all.............
  4. Ok found out how to mark the map section to download-but it want let me download to GPS,gives me this: 3/27/2A008 1:32:05 PM (UTC) OS: Windows XP Service Pack 2 Processor: Intel Processor Level: 15, RAM: 260096 KB SPO_SERIALPORT.CPP-343-4.13
  5. MapSource has a selector tool that allows you to mark maptiles for upload, then upload. Blue legend doesn't autoroute, btw. I assume you already know this. So turn off "upload routing data" or whatever if you are using a hacked version that shows that feature. Thanks, yeah just wanted some maps on the legend (so I can quit printing them out),while waiting to get the 60CSx,Thanks again
  6. Ok,just recieved my metroguide v5,how do I find out what region I am in so I can send maps to my blue legend for my state
  7. Thanks,it'll be a few days before it arrives,maybe it's at least v5
  8. What is the oldest version of metroguide USA that will autoroute on 60CSx,I read a post here somewhere last month that explained how to make an older version auto route but can't seem to find it now.Just bought Metroguide USA on ebay but it didn't say what version it is...
  9. That is exactly what I'm gonna do with my blue legend when I get my 60CSx,thought it should work just fine, there's enough waypoints on it to save a bunch of courses........
  10. The 60CSx is what I'm gonna get when my refund gets here, and right now Walmart has dropped there price to $280.00 site to store, thats a great deal!!!!!!!
  11. Thanks for the info-I'll have to think about it some more before ordering from them-may just go with Walmart,$305.00 but I know what I'm dealing with.
  12. Saw the 60CSx at compuplus.com for $279.00,has anyone done any business with this company-are they trust worthy??
  13. Aww man, that cache was on my list to get this weekend-guess I'll wait around til you hide it again. We used to party in that area back in the day, some probably still do,to bad they mess it up for the rest of us
  14. Geocaching.com is the greatest site there is-the only one as my personal opinion-I haven't got my premium membership yet but will have it very soon and looking forward to it.If you have to go,we'll leave the door unlocked for your return, see ya!
  15. Unless by TRAX they meant "Tracts",like the religeous literature, just a guess..
  16. Just me.I've been using my old Legend and I'm gonna buy the CSx for the quality of the antenna and all the other things that come with it.I know the Cx has the same antenna but I figure get it all while I can I guess, tax returns only come once a year and I don't want to regret anything-also I dream of the CSx-call me obsessed-Keep On Cachin' !!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. /\ l l There! All better! That's the GPS to get. The only difference between the two is that CSx has a barometric altimeter, which can be really handy if for some reason you need an accurate elevation reading. But, if you don't need a super accurate elevation reading hardly ever, then go with the Cx. Plus, CSx is about $100 more, and all you get is the altimeter. But the Cx doesn't have electronic compass either like the CSx
  18. I stopped using the geocaching mode because of this and the fact I could only use one icon for found/unfound caches(default are open closed treasure box), I use custom cache type icons instead. Pretty much everyone agrees having the note field highlighted not the found field makes way more since, yet garmin never seems to be listening. Seems like they could easily change this in the unit software. this issue hs been around since I got my LegendC or when the 60c/60cs were out, almost 4 years ago. I doubt garmin will change this anytime soon. So I'm going to buy a 60CSx soon-is this a mistake,I thought they were an awesome unit
  19. I'm gonna get the 60CSx in a few weeks(when the taxes get back)-was thinking about the Venture HC but decided on this one-any suggestions where to buy it from at the best price, how about a re-man unit?,recon it would be ok?, or just go for the new?
  20. Love caching-great way to be out of the house and have fun-All I need now is a newer GPSr,that is the addictive part, there's always something better(sometimes)
