  1. I was playing around on Google Earth and placed a waypoint in the middle of some remote property I own in Oklahoma. I wanted to enter it into my GPS, but the notation is different, and when I use online conversion calculators, I wind up in China or Canada or somwhere else that I do not want to be. These are the coordinates from Google Earth: 34°52'21.13"N 95° 9'2.47"W How can I convert them to the Geocaching.com format so that I can enter it into my GPS?
  2. I just started recently and so far, most of the stuff I've found in caches have been yo-yos, action figures, badges, stickers, keychains, pins and other things like that. I haven't found anything that was particularly useful to me so I haven't been taking anything, but I made some monkey's fist knot keychains that I've been leaving and some air force badges.
  3. Got it! Thanks a lot. I'll post a link to the cache in a sec once I'm done with the photos. 'Precciate the help.
  4. Thanks! How do I do that? I went to post a log on a cache, but quit because I didn't see anything about uploading photos.
  5. I took a few nice photos today while out caching and I wanted to share them in my gallery, but I can't seem to figure it out. Also, can I show the photos or link them somehow to the specific cache I was hunting for? They don't give anything away, they're just nice shots along the way. Thanks for the help!
  6. Why not threaded PVC pipe with end caps screwed on? There's some room in one foot of 3 inch pipe. After all, it is for plumbing. Some hardware stores will cut threads into a section of pipe for free. Might want to explain the hobby, because a short stick of capped PVC is also the housing of a pipe bomb.
  7. I did some looking around and reading the reviews on this site and I'd like to hear your recommendations. The GPS I'd like to find is primarily for driving, but I'd like to use it for kayaking and geocaching as well. I'd like to get a GPS that can give me turn-by-turn voice directions for driving has a color screen decent maps because I'm lousy with driving directions runs on replaceable/rechargeable batteries like AA or AAA is reasonably resistant to water I can enter coordinates for geocaching and get close enough to find caches I can pinpoint my location for hiding my own caches I looked at some Garmin Nuvis and they seemed OK, but I don't know how great the batteries are and how good they do with water. I really like the screen and driving-directions aspect. Can you point me in the right direction?
