    I'm in the same camp as the others. I find it interesting when someone posts a theme cache, and I try to abide by the theme. But, I don't feel compelled to do so and don't let my inability to stick with the theme deter me from seeking the cache. I've been to several themed caches, and never has it been a problem to deviate from the theme. Such instructions are usually included in the cache description.

    With the consent of the TB owner, I transported Bouncing Tigger from just outside the Wash. DC area to just outside London in the UK. That distance and transport doesn't appear on the map or the mileage total. I properly recorded that I took it out of the cache in DC. The only potential glitch was that before I could return to the US and log the placement in the the UK cache, someone picked up the TB and logged that they had it. So my placement log seems to only have the status of a note, as opposed to a placement log. Would this prevent the recording of mileage and prevent the jump being reflected on a map?
