  1. I know there is going to be an official 12-12-12 event coin, but I had also been working on a design for 12-12-12 which I am hoping to start getting some samples of within the next couple of months. I had already finished most of the design by the time I saw the first picture of the event design, so I had to change it a little so it wouldn't be too similar - but like that coin it will be slightly Mayan themed, with a Christmas theme too. 12-12-12 is also Kenyan Independence Day (or Jamhuri Day), and having lived there for a while I also wanted to include that in the coin somehow - so I focused on Africa for the picture of the earth. There is also going to be one version (shown below) that will be based on the Kenyan flag colours. To start with I'm planning on making around 100 coins, probably with 7 different versions (about 15 of each at first) - but will probably do a remint for another 100-200 coins. They will be slightly shaped - 2 inches in diameter and 3.5mm thick. With translucent and glow enamels, and will all be trackable with their own icon. Here is the design, though there will probably be a few small changes. And this is a 3D Photoshopped version showing the glow in the dark areas, which is how I'm hoping it will look.
  2. Mine arrive today too Really nice coins - Thanks
  3. Looks nice - Will definitely want to get a couple of them. Any idea when those might be available? I'm hoping it's not going to be while I'm traveling.

    Cointest Time

Going to be without internet for the next week so this might be my last guess. 1988
  5. Just approved the final artwork. Here are the 4 versions that I'm getting samples of.
  6. Thanks. It will still be a while until these will be available (maybe around August?) but I'll probably sell most of them through my online store. I might do reservations for some versions too, but I'll wait until I get the samples before maybe setting that up.
  7. What's the one near the middle of the picture, with the flash reflecting off of it - just below that Greek Owl coin?
  8. The blueprint designs are nearly done now. It just needs a few minor adjustments but it should look like the picture below, and hopefully I can finalize the design within the next week or so and get started on the samples
  9. Thanks - And yes I'd noticed he posted that coin just before my first post, but this one will be very different.
  10. Got my Copper Anubis Stargate coin today
  11. It's been a while since I've bought many coins for my collection, but these are a few I got this week.
  12. Half of the coins I ordered arrived today, and they are very nice. Great details with a nice weight to them, and these are now probably some of my favourite coins. Hopefully the other ones I ordered will be here in the next few days
  13. Very nice design. I hadn't bought any coins in a while but had to get some of these
  14. I’ve been planning and designing this coin on and off for a few months now and am finally happy with the design, and am just starting production on it. The coin is based on the Egyptian God Khepri (meaning to emerge or come into being). A God of creation, the movement of the sun, and rebirth - and would often take the form of a scarab beetle. The ancient Egyptians believed that the scarab/dung beetle was special, as it would lay its eggs in a ball of dung and push it along the ground, and the young beetles would eventually emerge from the ball as if created from nothing. Believing that these beetles were created from dead matter, the dung beetle was strongly associated with rebirth, renewal and resurrection, and scarab amulets would often be buried with the dead the ensure the rebirth of the deceased in the afterlife. The Egyptians also made a connection between the movement of the sun across the sky and the movement of the ball of dung pushed by the beetle. One myth suggests that Khepri pushed the sun across the sky ahead of him, and that this movement was constant. Every night, Khepri would push the sun down into the underworld, and every morning the sun would emerge again and travel across the sky. This will be a shaped coin. With a detailed 3D design on one side (around 10mm thick at its thickest point) and about 2 inches in diameter. To start with I’m planning on 100 coins in 4 versions (all trackable with icon), but will most likely order a few hundred more afterwards. It’ll probably take a couple of months to get these made and get samples, but will keep updating here when I can. For now here is a look at the basic design - I'll upload a picture of the front design again once the blueprints or samples are done.

    Khan Geocoin

Really nice design - will definitely have to get a couple.
  16. Coins are now up: http://www.freewebstore.org/cw88geocoins/index.aspx?pageid=396488&clear=1&preview=1
  17. Just under an hour now until they go on sale.
  18. About 4 hours until these go on sale here.
  19. Just replied - didn't recieve any of the other messages you sent for some reason though. Hopefully nobody else is having the same problem if they'd tried sending messages.
  20. The remint of these just arrived today and look good The coins will go on sale from my online store again on Saturday 21st - probably in the evening (for people in Europe), though still need to work out what time. I'll post another update here and on my facebook group to let you know the exact time.
  21. I should have the remint within the next few days, and I'll do the same as last time and give a date and time they'll go on sale. I probably wont put all the coins up in my online store at once like last time as one version did oversell last time, and to also allow people to get the correct price for registered or tracked delivery, as some people had asked about it last time when some of the coins were taking much longer than they should have to arrive. But it's looking like that will start around £5.75/$9.16 (1 coin to Europe) or £6.70/$10.68 to USA, and then about £8.10/$12.91 (2 coins to Europe) or £9.30/$14.80 for 2 coins to the USA. I can double check at the post office to see if there's anything cheaper as I know that's pretty expensive, but if you would be interested in registered or tracked delivery, let me know so I can work out the exact cost for the weight and country, and can send a seperate invoice for that.
  22. Finally recieved my coins today.
