  1. I had the same thing happen yesterday as well. I'm sorry it happened to you, but am a little comforted that it wasn't just me. I also deleted it (on the advise of another iPhone user) I went to the apps store on my phone and when i try to download it it tells me the Application Not Compatible. That it requires the iPhone 4.0 software Update. Any suggestions on how I do that? Any help would be appreciated.
  2. Congrats on your first TB find! You do not have to create another cache - unless you want to - You can leave this bug in any cache you find. OR you can let him travel with you for a little bit, letting him visit other caches you find (if they are too small to place him) - then he gets more miles. You should probably try to release him within a couple weeks or so. Happy caching Also, you can follow the bug after you release him to see where he travels if you want.
  3. Maybe not adding much to the conversation, but being fairly new to geocaching (joined in January, first find in April '10) - I've yet to snag a TB, but when I go to a cache and see that the TB is not there I try to leave a note both at the cache and for the TB itself that it's missing. I hope all those that are mssing eventually find there way home.
  4. ME! ME! While this past April,I walked right by the first cache I ever found and my brother - my mentor - gently guided me back to it......Yesterday was my first to find. My 23rd find ever. I couldn't believe it happened. I got Mr. mamacapp to go caching with me on our way home from dropping the geoteens at Creation for the week. He kinda enjoyed it - as much as he enjoys anything that does not involve his friends and HS wrestling - oops, I digress. Anyway, I saw that this cache had been replaced three days ago and it was on our way home. So off we went, into a valley with very limited reception. My iPhone was slow as molasses and jumpy as a frog. Around and around the building we went. The clue? It only confused me, but we kept looking - I actually grabbed the outlet thinking it was a fake - I was wrong, we kept looking. Mr mamacapp went back to the same location...... THEN, he noticed.....there it was the rock in an odd spot..... Mr. mamacapp moved the rock ....... and there IT was.... we removed the log and no one had signed it...FTF was there NO name next to it. WOO HOO!!!! By the time we got home and I got on line to log my find, someone else had been there. With our twin boys going off to college in the fall, i hope this will be a new and postive phase in my married life. Have I mentioned I love geocaching?????
