I hate finding candy/gum in caches

Due to recently posted advice I would like to pose a follow up question... What is a standard time for Maintenance . I have seen dnf logs on caches that are still there, I hid them so that they would be difficult, and a very experienced cacher couldn't find it. I went and checked on it and well it was still there. So the question is if there are several dnf, notes or a needs maintance, should I just jump up and put everything to the side to check on my cache? What if the cacher that posted the logs are new and it really isn't missing? Seriously though, I plan to check all my geocaches now that it's nice, but what is an acceptable time to do Maintenance

My fiancé resently got a log on a cache that apparently been mugged... The log said "I am marking it 'found it' Even though all is left is the magnet No container" I instructed her that that log probably needs deleted since, 1 its gone 2 the cached isn't a newbie and should know better 3 the log right before it also stated that the container was gone but the magnet was still there. Any thoughts?

How do i search for the newest caches in my state. I am actually looking for a event but i can't find anything on it. Unless there is a large event or holiday, then the meeting time and location may move. See the cache page for specific time. ***As the waypoint will vary each month please go to Geocaching.com and check the newest caches in Oklahoma. ok i had a tb in a new cache, and a noob came and took it and left one, but neither one have been logged. i sent a email here it is and was wondering if i should send anything else. When you set unreasonable expectations for others, you're bound to be disappointed. Some people just aren't very wordy - this doesn't mean they don't appreciate your cache. Some people use online logging simply for tracking - this doesn't mean they don't appreciate your cache. Some people are short on time - this doesn't mean they don't appreciate your cache. I assume that if someone found my cache and logged it without complaint, they appreciate that it was there for them to find. It's not about being "selfless," it's about not reading bad intentions into neutral actions. Narcissa, this is a very good point, thank you for pointing this out.
