  1. Must be getting old or just don't know or what to look at - everything looks like colored noise to me There was a huge local puzzle years ago that used these as clues (in the caches). Looked at them every which way but could never make anything out.
  2. Military Surplus Bunny Boots. So far as I know they are 100% artifical. No idea on price. $69 but the wool may present an issue these?
  3. He Man Micro Haters Club Initiation Cache Large shopping area, Wally Mart is in the front yard and the listed parking waypoint puts you in front of Wally Mart. Cache container was originally painted to look like a film can but most of the paint has worn off.
  4. Here is my little Cujo - black lab/border collie and part nut case. She has a bad knee so no more hiking for her
  5. I really dislike the Harry Potter theme, have so ever since I started. I will begin my own personal crusade for a change to start calling the uninformed, partially uninformed or disinterested individuals BLONDS like it or not ahhh how many thoughts can be gathered from one single word everyone is familiar with Hey, look out for Blonds at the cache site, they are everywhere Hey, did you get a load of that Blond - could'nt find the cache if it hit him in the face Stealth required heavy Blond area get my point - whatever
  6. was it this cache? oh here is my obligatory post
  7. Palm Centro - Verizon works fine. Does not load fast (dial-up speed) but everything is there, banner pictures as well. I use the WAP site when I'm playing on the phone much easier to do what I want to do. Don't need no stinking Iphone
  8. Unless my cache is missing I know and remember the exact spot. Even getting to the location without using a GPS is easy. I guess I burned the location into my mind - online research, physical research, placement, spoiler pictures and regular inspections. Kinda sticks with you after that, plus most of my caches are regular/large so that narrows down the search radius quite a bit I did have one problem child but I blame my lack of ability in finding my cache on darkness
  9. well that was painless all of 3 clicks. Thanks for putting this together
  10. The one on the bottom - every day, everywhere. I do have many special purpose knives but this is what goes with me everywhere. Steel does not hold an edge for a toot but it serves the need. Don't have to worry if I have to give it up or loose it.
  11. This pen has been in service since January of 1990 and used every day. I am dead serious about that - no OCD just a really long story that has turned into a challenge. Nobody and I mean nobody touches my pen Don't ask me about my basement slippers - even worse than the pen even better this is post 1313 for me
  12. Hitches Constrictor Now I have never slept in a hammock but I can tell you one thing about the constrictor knot - it holds and it holds really well. I made a redneck roof rack and I lashed it down with several constrictors and drove fully loaded with about 100 pounds of gear at about 85 mph for 3 hours and nothing budged. Tried to save my rope but ended up cutting it off. Show off to your friends, learn to tie some knots.
  13. With a the Walmart LPC stock dividends I have, I am doing quite well for my family.
  14. Spent a couple of years living in Coburn - hmmm maybe next summer break I can take a trip down memory lane. On a side note I really miss Penns Creek and playing around in the mountains, there are some great locations in central PA. I remember climbing to the top near this cache
  15. Dave Ulmer Mike Teague Pennsylvania's oldest active cacher mmmmmm Original pictures another note I wonder hmmmm Could be the original locations of the "moved" caches
  16. I suspect that I am having a slow brain morning, but I cannot quite follow what you are suggesting, although I believe that you are suggesting that someone create a new thread devoted to some kind of debate. However, I am lost at this point. Will you tell me more about what it is that you are proposing? Thanks! This thread - sometimes it is best to call someone out but only as a last resort and when all other avenues have been attempted.
  17. why not just move the found it-V-DNF thread to the main topics page. Good thread and having more visibility will gather the attention everyone wants (good and bad)
  18. Mid October things get really busy link to seasons State game land MAPS - some secrets here that google earth and other programs cant touch. The State maps show trails, parking lots and many other useful features.
  19. Found mainly standard containers but I do have a strange cache out there One of my daughters dolls had seen better days and was in the trash so what do I do (visualize young jedi) Take the doll head and attach it to a container, give her a make-over and set free. In order to open the container you have to grab the baby by the head and turn Never took any pictures - this was the short story. I did have a master plan but it would have been more trouble than it was worth.
  20. as for the OP's original question - yes I do have multiple accounts and yes I was going to hide caches under those accounts but I never did. I gave 1 to my son who could care less about logging anything and the other 2 I guess are for the other kids if they decide to do anything later down the line. I have posted on the forums with the various accounts but that was to set the avatar. I have a hard time understanding why someone would use a sock puppet, they are easy to spot (for the most part) - underpants puppets are harder to catch but that would belong in the OT thread
  21. all of you need some Jesus in your lives - bunch of sinners
