  1. It isn't coming to the Leprechaun, he runs to fast!
  2. Don't be offended, Kai Team. Anti- public sex is the main theme here. I get the feeling that some people are just bothered by the thought of gay sex it because they wouldn't enjoy it or don't share those feelings or attractions. I think the more you are around people who are different than you on any level, the more you realize they really aren't that different. (Race, religion, nationality orientation, etc...) It is like a girlfriend I had in college loved Mayo & ketchup sandwiches. I thought it was disgusting , she thought it was awesome. If I happened upon a Hetero couple, it might take me a few seconds to avert my eyes. If I discovered a male couple engaging in acts, I would immediately avert my eyes ., in part because I couldn't see myself doing or enjoying it. We put ketchup on french fries in the US, other countries use Mayonaise or vinegar.
  3. Perhaps. Anyone need a group hug? (or is that inappropriate)
  4. I wouldn't worry about it. No matter what you send out, I am sure someone somewhere would be offended. I think that as long as you include a little explaination as to why you chose that particular design, any person who might be offended will at least understand where you are coming from. I am there are some people are offended by the little green army men that I have seen in caches or by the St Mary's medallion TB I recently picked up. Send it out, and if someone is offended by it, they shouldn't pick it up and move it along. Good Luck! spamhead
  5. I just opened up this topic last week. There were some great resources listed here. Puzzle I hope that works and if it does it will surely help..(don't call you Shirley) spamhead
  6. Pretty soon we will be posting coordinates of site locations that don't have a cache. I guess , being somewhat of a Newbie, I wasn't attracted to the "club" aspect of this. I just thought the thrill of the treasure hunt was cool enough. Plus it gives me an opportunity to hit the woods with my son who loves the outdoors. The only problem I see with the numbers of GCR's increasing is the possible increase in people who are sloppy or careless around the cache. It could increase the Muggle-ability of some caches that have been well concealed for sometime. Spamhead
  7. Thank you for all of this info. The links enclosed are exactly the info I was looking for. Thank you for all of the responses. I am going to close this topic. spamhead
  8. I have a Meridian Gold with Direct Route software. I use my Sony Clie TJ27 as a reference. I run a query of the Caches I want and the files download to the PDA when I hotsync. It opens up in Mobipocket as another book. It works really well Spamhead
  9. I see a Query for * difficulty puzzle caches in my future. That will be a good time to start with the training wheels on.
  10. I mean Alice no harm. I have a little "Rat" Min Pin so I take abuse about her, too. I love that Analytical cache. That is more up my alley.
  11. Thank you Dr. Evil. This string is definitely worth "One Millyun Dollars" and is now bookmarked. Do you take that little hamster out caching with you?
  12. I think it all depends on what the the geography in your area is like. I hunt in northern Minnesota and Topo is just about useless. Those 60 foot hills may be numerous but they don't show up at all. If you live in lake country, you can still use the POI's and detailed roads. If you live in the mountains, the TOPO would be much more useful. (What a stupid statement!)
  13. Relax, I am not asking for answers, I am just utilizing the one tool I could think of to find other tools to solve these #@&*ing puzzles. AJK: Thank you. At least now I have a few jumping off points. spamhead
  14. Maybe the key is to stumble upon a simpler cache or two. I am not a programmer. I don't dream in code. I feel like I am listening to a radio station that is broadcast in a different language with no idea of the format. Are they talking about the weather or I should clean my silverware iwth goat urine & coffee grounds? So much for those internet I.Q. tests.
  15. Here in Minnesota, there are plenty of puzzle caches with aser ieso flet ters inar epea ting sequ ence. (Obviously this is a very simple example.) In the local paper, I solve the Cryptoquips with ease, probably because one clue is given. When I look at these puzzlers that don't give any hints, my brain short-circuits. Where can I find the "Rosetta Stone" to help decypher these. I realize that each code is different, but I would like a link or a few examples to get the Spacely Sprockets in my head unjammed. Winter (or gin) must have frozen my brain. Thank you for any guidance (or lubrication). SpamHead ps, I know, lose the parenthesis.
  16. there would be a fight for the ftf on that one! Sorry folks, I think Sergei Federov found Anna before you. I have been "unloading" unusual shotglasses. Sadly, I haven't figured out how to keep them full for the next casher.
  17. I say, Skip the latte tomorrow morning, pony up the three bucks and get over it. I get my $3.00 worth every time I log into this site. Things are getting "catty" in here.
  18. I like the theme on the mousepad at GeocacheU "All who wander are not lost" Spamhead
  19. I think this case is closed. Thanks for the help. spelling
  20. [so where's my airline tickets? Or did they go to Team Misguided?] I messed up on the tickets and sent them to the Misguided Brigade. Oops! Thanks again. spamhead
  21. RALANN, Do you really have to register your GPSr to use it in another country? Will the Federalies think I am a drug lord or Terrorist? Team Misguided, You aren't living up to your name. That cache is a great starting point, Thanks! Old Bet Brigade, I have not run a search by coordinates, yet. I forgot that was an option. This is just one of the reasons I love cachin' so much. I posted that question at 1:30 am here in Min-ne-SO-tah and had three immediate responses. Thanks for the help & ideas. spamhead
  22. I am heading to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in March and would like to find a cache or two. When I select Mexico, there is no apparent way to single out the city or view a map of caches in a particular region. 1) How can I locate a cache in a specific city or region without having to page through all 198 caches in Mexico? 2) Has anyone been to a PV cache? Any advice will certainly be appreciated. Thank you, spamhead
  23. I downloaded GSAK last week When I downloaded EasyGPS. I initially thought I would only use them to download waypoints to my GPSr but it appears GSAK can do so much more than that. Either way, it beats the heck out of manually inputing info into my GPSr. I was also wondering how to store and organize caches (waypoints) into my SD card to utilize that memory instead of having to page through my finds.
