Just a note since I realized it is not listed here.While the final icon design has not been accepted the Maryland coin will have a custom icon. Unlike a standard USA coin (and several new ones) this will show as a Maryland coin and display an icon close to this;

Payments keep coming in.I know I have payments from the other thread that the paypal name does not match. They will all get where they need to be. Close to 1000 requested. We are still hoping to have these by the first week of August.

Just a quick thank you and update. We have requests for 485 coins so far. I will post a list early next week.

Shipping is one of the last details. I thought to include it on every coin but realized it penalized those who ordered more and our local group who may not need shipping. We will know better as the pre-orders come in. If the response is strong(it has been with commitments for 250 in less than 24 hours)we will order more and the cost will be lower. $6 per coin is a firm maximum and will include shipping. I have just discovered the world of geocion variation. I bought 2 Joy of Geocaching coins and promptly sent them out as travel bugs with tags firmly fixed and instructions on how to purchase if they are interested. I will wait to see how far they get they are numbered and really nice but reasonable to purchase. Is it naive to think people will pass them on. I hope not. I am trying to generate interest in a Maryland state coin and perhaps one of my own . If you attach a standard TB tag it adds to the cost but is tracked through GC.com

I bought a Geo coin to celebate my 100th find. I plan to log it into and the next 100 and release it in my 200th.

I used a travel bug tag in a multi I set up.There is a Golden Dollar that has been used several times appearing as a FTF prize. I missed picking it up twice. Not sure the latest finder will recycle it.
