  1. Like others have already said ( I would like to reinforce their comments). I use the feature on the 'old maps page' where you can access the small bar at the bottom left of the map to carry out various functions. These included - Enable location info tool - Hide caches - Enable route tool - Go to home location - Configure geocaching map enhancements. Also, the small distance bar allows you to gauge distance fairly accurately. Teh enable location tool is the most useful to me as it allows me to plot a car parking place near to GZ where the CO has chosen not to provide one
  2. Got a solution. If you go to your standard home page, and select the 'old style' page, you will see the option down the right hand side
  3. I have exactly the same question?
  4. At last, we have a reasonable explanation as to the motives behind what has happened to this cache and why. I am a relatively inexperienced cacher compared to most who have posted on this topic. but maybe my view will be shared by others? I was extremely disappointed when this cache was disabled as I had been following it for some time. Then I became confused how a cache can have its location changed (without it actually travelling anywhere), than its name - just on what at first seemed like a whim. I now have a better understanding. People new to caching, and perhaps those with a relatively low level of experience look to those more experienced cacher's, like this CO to help us make the most from our hobby. The lack of information given on the cache page when the change was made, which is where everyone who was interested was 'watching' the cache, is for me what caused the problem. I just hope that others who may have felt as disappointed as me find this forum and read Jason Barlow's explanation. I remain disappointed in the action, but if this is what GS allow, and what the CO wants, what can we do! The UK's loss, and Utah's gain.
