I thought I posted this yesterday but I can't seem to find it. I just bought a used 520hcx and I have two questions 1). When I disconnect the unit from the charger, the battery status icon remains on the display. It drained my battery down by almost 10% overnight. How do I shut this off? 2). The bottom clip on the battery seems to be stuck. It feels like it is going to snap when I try to remove the battery to put in a map card. Any suggestions would be great

My garmin works with xp, vista and windows 7 but I haven't been able to make it work with linux. google nRoute as this was a free program that garmin used to have available on their website for free, now they don't list it anymore. I have the 60hcx and use a normal usb cable (it came with my mp3 player)
