Our coin arrived today, and it is really beautiful! Thanks for all the dedication and vision that you put into this coin. Our little cacher is quite impressed with the multiple layers and colors, proclaiming it "the coolest coin I've ever seen!"

I recently made a little geocoin display using fabric. The intent is to eventually display a rotating selection of my favorite 25 coins. As a geocaching family, we've started purchasing and trading for coins only very recently so what you see is our entire collection! The fabric is a black-on-black print with vinyl pockets and silver accent trim along the top. There is a very stiff interfacing between the two fabrics which gives the display some structure and stability.

We're excited to participate in this race too (especially our 6 year old cacher)! Can't wait to see the progressions of the various bugs. Good luck to all!

We bought our first Compass Rose coin and it arrived today. It is a really beautiful coin! Thinking now that I should have went for the set!

It contained 2 cool coins, 3 pathtags (which we don't have any yet), and a dog trackable. Plus, assorted goodies including Christmas pencils, a cool compass, a lanyard, dog ornament, and geocaching tattoos! Our 6-year-old cacher loves those tattoos! Our geodog, Brutus, can't wait to have his picture taken on our next caching adventure to put into the ornament. This is the first year that we have done geocoin exchanges and we've had a great time! We're entering for the first time and just picked up our travel bug today. Getting it prepared and coming up with a name has been a fun family event! Looking forward to the junior cacher learning about some geography with this race. Thanks for organizing!
