I don't know about the "Best" coin...I received far too many that I LOVE to single one out...but the most memorable one FOR SURE! was the Carpe Diem I received at Midnight Geocoin Madness this year. I will never forget that moment

Bumping so I don't lose it...and maybe, just maybe *someone* might see it and grant us a little update... (Yes, I'm still hoping these will be delivered someday.)

Thank you so much, whoever you are. This Christmas season was amongst the worst I've ever had. The loss of my marriage, a pet, and other less important things, have left a hole in my heart. Receiving this cute little coin put a smile on my face and gave me another reason to remember that people can be so very kind. Thank you.

Sorry, not acceptable. He deals with the mint and he deals with the buyers. He's the middle man. They took his money, they should answer to him. He took our money, HE (not his bff) should answer to us...and he hasn't. That's poor business practice and it's RUDE. I enjoy acquiring coins...every aspect of it. The introduction, the communication, the anticipation, the commradery that I've found here on the forum, buying and trading, and the kindnesses of most of the sellers on the eplace. I enjoy watching ideas flourish into beautiful little treasures that I eventually get to hold in my hand...and sometimes pass on to someone else who wants it even more than I do. That is what has been tainted here. I agree. Unlike some of the newer people, I was aware of Jim's history. Not that I was a part of it, but I did read through all the drama from way back when. I like to believe in the good of people. I would have thought that since he HAS such history, he would be doing everything within his power to assure people that the bad history is part of his past. I'm sad to say, his current actions show me that I was wrong. Edited because I can't spell when I'm angry.

I hope you're right, but I won't believe it until I have them in hand. Unfortunately, they're already beginning to feel tainted. That's what makes me angry. Even with Jim's history, people took a chance and handed him money based on his word...and there were lots of words from him during that process. Now that he has our money, and we're just looking for our product, he doesn't have time for us? The forums aren't high on his priority list? He can't answer emails? Sorry, but there's no excuse for that.

I emailed Jim early yesterday morning. Haven't heard a word. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm quickly moving from 'frustated' to completely PO'd Edited to show proper emoticons to emphasize my feelings right now. (My phone entry just didn't do it justice.)

This is an email I received from Jim on 11/23: Hi Laura, The mint has told me the coins will be shipped by the end of the month, but has not yet given me shipping data on them.
