  1. Maybe here in Southern California, we have a different view on distances. I drive 70 kilometers one way to my office. So, a 30 kilometer jaunt is almost nothing.
  2. I have a personal tangent to this: The cache I found last night was on the ground, but the description/hint stated it is 2' off the ground. I put it back 2' off the ground. Same exact location. Should I go back and move it back to the ground? Should I edit my log? Thanks all -
  3. That is a very cool perk for a job. Now can you convince them to buy you a new GPS?
  4. I'm a newbie, just found cache 11. Me personally, if I found one of your caches and received an email I would be delighted. It would reconfirm to me that I'm not out trekking along all by myself. So, here's a future TFTC now.
  5. Rocket Robby here, picked up the Geocaching app for my iPhone and now have found 8 caches. It's such a fun thing to find treasure chests hidden a block from my home.
  6. I live to make people chuckle. I gave him the secret signal, but he thought I was a Mason.
  7. I thought that exact thing, it was about 10 at night.
  8. I'm using the iPhone Geocaching app and it allows me to post a log and tweet about it all at the same time. Saturday my wife asked me why I went caching without her. She saw my tweet about finding a cache. @rocketrobby is my twitter name.
  9. So I was geocaching the other night. Found the cache, signed the log and replaced it. While I was in the area taking a few pictures, another person walked up and was staring at me and kinda looking around the area of the cache. I was wondering; is there an acceptable way to identify yourself as a cacher to someone else? It would have been fun to find another cacher in my area and strike up a conversation.
