seems like a harmless bit of fun to me! might remind some of us that this is all just a game, and living should be fun! he's welcome to visit any of my caches - though if he transcends himself into my front room i wont be so pleased!

it wouldnt be safe to assume that! a pushchair, stroller or buggy can often go places that a person in a wheelchair wouldnt be able to go - depending on who is pushing the childs pushchair, stroller or buggy!

ive recently posted a thread to try and get an new attribute to help cachers with kids and pushchairs - please add your comments to the following link - link i do believe that there should be more attributes - they seem to get used, and offer good guidance, so why not more of them? lets see some more please!

i always do the same - check the log on the listing - saves time when many finds have been made on the same day - and always good to see a picture posted.

yes lil devil they would both have different abilities! the attribute would just serve as a useful guide and something for people to consider when either listing or finding a cache. anyone with kids or a pushchair could then consider if their own pushchair was up to the terrain rating, and take further advice from the description. basically its a matter of coaxing cache placers to consider the needs of cachers with small children, that might have to use a pushchair, and indicate whether or not some form of pushchair could be used. some cachers (gowenhouse for one example) make a point of stating in their descriptions if their caches arent suitable for pushchairs. This is fantastic advice for someone with kids. (his caches are usually very good too!) the attribute might make other cachers also consider people with pushchairs, the same way as the wheelchair, or mountain bike one does, but in a more definitive way.

perhaps it could be an attribute icon with a 3 wheeler picture then? - seems most people favour the 'off road' variety in the uk!

it'd help myself and others cachers to assess whether or not to leave their kids and pushchairs at home - or at the parking coordinates! i think its a simple matter of an attribute that could have been made available in the beginning, but perhaps with some encouragement, its maybe not too late to get one added for future use. is this a good idea?

i recently posted a thread on the uk section of the forum asking if a pushchair (or baby buggy) friendly attribute would be a useful addition to cache listings. i would like to see one, and it seems others would also. the wheelchair attribute doesnt quite do it, as pushchairs can often go where wheelchairs can't - depending upon who is pushing i suppose! so, is this a good idea? and if so, how do we go about requesting one?

depending on approval for a new cache, or on my cache partner to drive me, or if i can prise it out of my daughters hands - the jeep will be moving soon! better to keep it for a good one though i think, and keep everyone in suspense! havent found a cache big enough lately to take it - well i have, but i'd left it at home by accident! but dont tell no-one! soon those wheels will be rollin tho!

im due to take a trip to the big london place soon, and as i havent cached there in the past, i'd be interested to see if anyone knows of any i should take a look at. cheers!

i often feel a little bit strange when i pop up out of some secluded location and come face to face with some 'normal' people! i've never felt guilty for what i was doing, but i have felt like i must have looked very suspicious - all part of the buzz i suppose we get from doing what we do!

i reckon its only a matter of time until some dog walker accidentally comes across an ammo can tucked under a pile of sticks and calls out the bomb squad - wouldnt happen with a sandwich box. though you never know i suppose! think i'll give the aldi boxes a try if they come out in the store near me.

parking coords are always helpful i find, as is expected time to the cache. even more useful for me though is information as to whether or not pushchairs can cope with the terrain. this can make a big difference with regards to timing! gowenhouse usually makes a point of stating that pushchairs arent recommended - and i often stupidly ignore his advice!! think i'll look at my own caches to check i comply with my own thoughts!

i found a cache last year beside a lake where some fishermen and women had been camping. after waiting about an hour for them to pack up and go, i ran out into the woods to find the cache - the cache was right in the spot they had chosen to use as their toilet, and not just for peeing in! they luckily just missed the spot by inches. imagine that though - in all the woods in all the land, and they picked a tupperware box to poo next to! - not knowing what delightful toys and random items they could have had for their very own!

i didnt realise that it might be a permanent voucher with no expiration date! oops! how often does one get a little off something for nothing?? if it indeed is, then perhaps mr sensei will log the promo code here, as i didnt make a note of it! bring on the stamps!!!

having recently done parts 1-7 of the underworld series, i'd highly recommend having a go at this set - interesting locations, a bit of hard work but well worth the effort! except for the spiders though!!
