  1. Well, that will just about do it for me, then...looks like I got 'em all... Gee, I never knew it would be so easy! Does that mean I won?
  2. You can search for days, even weeks, for the perfect spot. Spend hours in the garage, getting the cache camo just right. But the hardest thing to do is 'idiot-proof' a cache...
  3. Jeep released the Travel Bugs to travel for the duration of the contest. The contest is over. That means the Bugs mission is over. Do you think Jeep actually expects these to come back to them? Keep it.
  4. No, you can't adopt it, as far as I know. Thanks to all the other cachers who chose to jump on this cacher, rather than just answer the question posed.
  5. Be careful while wearing them! I won't use them, only so I can hear if any rattlers are nearby...
  6. Hmm... So, using that logic, if you start it at the $7500 and there are no bids, does that mean it is worthless? No, it just means no one wants to pay what it is really worth.
  7. Thanks, sbell... Yes, folks, these are the kinds of people that want me to continue to travel around and display the O.C.B. for them... Just keep on paying for airline tickets and rental cars and hotels to display it for them, because they think, for some reason, I owe them that. Talk about trolling.
  8. And if the market wants to pay $7500 for it, the value will be $7500.
  9. No. I am not in a bad financial position, nor will I ever ask for charity.
  10. Believe me, if I get a legit bid on it, I'll sell it. Let's say I started the bidding at $1, with a $7500 reserve, and the bids topped out around $1200. The value of the O.C.B. would then be set at $1200. Moun10Bike coins are going for over $2000, so I would think this 'Holy Grail' of Geocaching (as it's been called) is worth at least that much, don't you? This way, with even one bid, the value is set at $7500. But is it even worth it for me to let it go for $100, or $1000? Nope. I have spent several times that amount out of my own pocket to haul it around to Events, showing it to the community, which I can no longer afford to do. Unfortunately, the O.C.B. appearances will be few and far between, from here on out. If it doesn't sell, so be it. It'll never be offered for sale again, but I thought I would put it out there and see if any serious geocaching collector wants to 'take it over'.
  11. I don't think anyone would be willing to use it, especially given the fact it's unsealed...
  12. Even better, we could have a Forum just for the pets to post in...
  13. Soon you will be able to take the escalator to the top...
  14. By the way, RESCUED FROM THE SO-CALLED 'DEATH ZONE'
  15. Wow. There we have it, folks, right from the 'expert'. Guess you really put me in my place for caring about another human being, eh?
  16. Sometimes the drive to get to the top, or reach the geocache first, can make people do unbelievably irrational things. Recently, a hiker was left to die on Everest, while over 40 people walked right by him, and not a single one of them offered to help, while he lay freezing to death. Even a 'Discovery Channel' film crew walked past. They didn't help him, but they DID manage to take the time and film his last moments of life. Nice. Such caring people. I hope the family sues them for their negligent behavior. 'Guide' leaves out-of-towner behind on the trail DURING THIS CACHE HUNT, and then posts the other cacher 'decided to take another route'. I will be sending the cacher an apology for the rude and irresponsible behavior he experienced while here in AZ. You don't leave your hiking partner, period. It's even worse to do so when the person left behind is not familiar with the area and the local terrain.
