  1. If someone has a link to tell me how to make a KML file from my tracking data, please post it here. Thanks.
  2. So is the NFL. I pay because I want all the features and I want them on my schedule period. I don't want to find a spot where it's convenient for the server.
  3. The site may have been working better today, until I started to try and log things.
  4. This is really getting sickening! It's almost 9am and I want to check out a new cache in the area. SERVER TOO BUSY! FIX IT
  5. I agree that PM should have priority. This is getting kind of old. I had trouble Saturday and Sunday. Get with it Groundspeak!
  6. CBs were great in 1969. Today there are too many idiots on the air with absolutley no discipline. Go with the Ham.
  7. Logging your own cache is like have a group of friends over to play tag. You're it and you stand there and keep tagging yourself while everyone else runs away. Fun, huh?
  8. I have one clipped to my swag bag. Sometimes on the trail when reception isn't all too good, I'll have my GPSr on the map page and whether it's on "track up" or "north up" I can match it to the compass to see where I am.
  9. I'm a Veterans' Service Officer. Massachusetts has the best veterans benefits in the country and I'm privileged to assist our veterans to obtain them.
  10. Three of my 15 caches were intended for handicapped cachers. Having spent several months in a wheelchair tends to help me remember less mobile cachers. Even my Frog Talk cache which is rated at 5 is suited for wheelchair access!
  11. I've had a couple of my TBs stuck in difficult caches. While not rated a 5, they were also in remote areas. I finally had to ask the cache owners to remove the TB on their next maintenance visit. Happily, they obliged and the TBs have moved on.
  12. Occasionally the forum page loads in a different format. This has only happened since the latest version was released.

    Booted!

I'm using Safari on 10.4.4 and haven't had a problem yet.
  14. While not an answer to your OP, I thought it was really cool having my GPSr on a cruise. I had changed the settings to nautical miles and enjoyed knowing the coarse and speed of the ship and knowing our location on the map at all times. Have fun!

    In Bad Taste

The last time I was in Germany, a fest band was singing a song in english that included that word. "Alice! Who the **** is Alice?" There were people of all ages enjoying the music too. It was a catchy tune and I don't think anyone even blinked an eye, except a few Americans. So, I agree that that type of word doesn't have the same meaning to a non-english (EASL) speaker.
  16. I use a Palm M130. Since I use a Mac computer, I have MacCMConvert to place the GPX files into Cachemate. Simple 3-step process. 1. Download GPX. 2. Place in MacCMConvert. 3. Upload to Cachemate. Done!
  17. Here is the cache commemorating old man Tupper. Tupperware Party
  18. I use a Garmin Quest in the car. It used to be my only GPSr, but now I have a GPSMAP 60C to use on the trail. I have a Palm M130 with Cachemate on it. The only place I get lost now is at home.
  19. Anyone know what is new in this beta? Garmin doesn't explain.
  20. I've found VPC to be pretty much useless. Go with the above suggestions. Garmin will soon be supporting Mac. Hopefully Clyde will see the value of GSAK for Mac. All will be right with the world.
  21. Try clearing your browser cache. That did it for me.
