Maybe it's the same as mine! A 1966 Chevy Impala Sedan "boat", errrrr. maybe battleship is more like it. Mine could have slept 6 in the trunk, and that's even with the 2 spare tires in there! :-)

blackie? (a bit of reverse psychology)

How about this for a trade request? I've got a new Garmin T-shirt that says "Garmin Professional Cycling Team", but it's a size Large and I need an XL or even XXL if they're small. Anyway, let me know if you're interested in trading a Geocoin for that. Email me thru my GC.com profile. Thanks!! Of course, I'd really like to keep w/ the Garmin theme, so coins in that vein would be very interesting indeed.

Yes, Mousekakat is correct. It's not a dreamcatcher w/ the cutouts already there. It's a suncatcher which is one of the epoxy filled stained glass looking types. So I think that drilling the hole would damage it, but I want to know if anyone out there has ever tried it and found out for sure. Thanks again!

The post was supposed to say something like this: I've got a couple suncatcher type coins I'd like to tag and release. But can these types of coins be drilled? Even around the edge I'm afraid it might break the 'ring' that supports the suncatcher part in the middle and damage the whole thing. Any advice? Thanks! And sorry for the weird hiccups

I like the idea of releasing a "blemished" coin and keeping the "good" one in my collection. My problem is, with the Crake ones mentioned, I can't tell which one is the good one and which one is the "bad". They're really that close. They're great. I don't feel like I'm releasing an "inferior" coin at all, yet if it goes missing, I won't be too disappointed either. So I think it's kind of the best of both worlds approach. Also, I got one of those sets made by Caching Coins a couple years back and those were nice too. They had one coin w/ the real # and the other with PCxxxx or something like that so that you knew which one was to keep and which one was to be released.

I think Dickens says it best. --Or, at least he was close. I had to help him a bit. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times; it was the age of puzzles solved, it was the age of foolishness; it was the epoch of geocoins won, it was the epoch of geocoins lost; it was caching in the Light, it was caching in the Darkness; it was the caching in the spring of hope, it was caching in the winter of despair; we had every cache before us, we had nothing before us; we were all going directly to the cache, we were all going the other way!

It's Not All About The Numbers,,,,But It Helps If You Can Read Them

Good idea. I was wondering if any of those rows or columns contain coordinates for a cache? Seems like a nice way to embed a little puzzle into a coin. Although I probably won't be caching in Tennesee anytime soon, it seemed like an interesting idea. -

Thanks! And congrats again Fossillady.

Congrats Fossilady! I have no idea what the question even was, much less the answer. Can you fill me in on how you deciphered the question at least? Thanks!

I really like the simplicity of the KS micros, and these are a nice color variant. But the burning question for me is what does that quote mean? Thanks!
