  1. All items sold and shipped - Mods please close topic.
  2. Dell Axim is SOLD! Palm Zire still available!
  3. Is this the same cache you were whining about in this thread????
  4. The answer is tiny orthodontic rubber bands. Ebay has 100 for $3 - see Item number: 200322238225
  5. Based on this bit of logic, I bought a used Magellan Explorist 100 for $50 that I keep in the car. Do you not still have to pay a subscription fee to use the BlackBerry GPS?
  6. What's twitter? The link you provide is blocked here at work. They say Twitter is a "social networking" site.
  7. Athens, Alabama is near me. Or did you mean Athens, Georgia?
  8. I love the new change. Several caches in our community were angst agains the cut and paste log crowd and the requirements were not educational or fun at times. I hope this brings us back to "find the container, sign the log, log online" where we were years ago.
  9. I don't accept PMs off the Forums. Email sent to you.
  10. Sounds like you may need to calibrate the electronic compass.
  11. What about the Rock Wall up at Wade Mtn? Do some research on a historical spot like this. Would be an awesome educational opportunity.
  12. I frequently pick up TBs and then drop them into a cache an hour or two later. I then get home and see the TB page. Maybe I helped it toward its goal, maybe not. Otherwise, I usually pick up a TB one weekend and drop it the next weekend. Personal preference, I guess.
  13. Why do you feel the need to verify every log?
  14. Yes, the wrong settings once put me off about 75 feet on every cache until I corrected to WGS84.
  15. Yes, the 500 series. The other units may have a tendency to lock onto roads, etc. and are not geocaching friendly.
  16. No, it would not. But, what's wrong with just having folks sign the log??
  17. Any particular model? There are over 800 etrex units for sale on Ebay today.
  18. Forum ate your post.........
  19. I believe every cache is worth the effort. Also, on a side note, I am on dialup at home and I would never waste the extra effort to rate a cache.
  20. No. You can search a member's profile and see any archived caches they have found or hidden, but you can't search for archived caches based on a zip code, etc.
