  2. I thought there was mention of a link to activate trackables in the latest GC update. Anybody have the link to that? I can't seem to find it..... I guess it was just a form to fill out to activate trackables vice sending an email. I tried it early on, with two trackabears and got instant activation code, instant I say. I just can't find that page any more. Below is an email i received from Groundspeak in regards to activating the track a bear travel bug, i clicked on the link and it was activated straight away after i enteresd the code on the TB Hi Jamie- Thank you for writing in. Please go to this page to find your activation code: http://www.geocaching.com/track/ActivationCodeRetrieve.aspx If you have any questions please let me know. Happy caching!

  5. i would like to see the schematic for doing this. can you please post a link or send me a message with the info
  6. cant see why you could not just purchase a USB-RS232 convertor. This way it acts as a serial port on your computer and then you can plug the garmin cable you already purchased into it and communicate with your computer. I am sure you can pick one up heaps cheaper than $60 if you check on ebay
  7. thanks for the quick reply. i have just tried loading the gpx file directly into the GPS like you suggested and it is all there now. Thanks for your help Jamie
  8. Hi Sorry if this has been asked before, I have recently got myself a Garmin Oregon 200 to use for geocaching. I have run a Pocket Query to show the 500 closest caches to my location that i have not found yet. When i transfer the PQ to the GPS using easyGPS then go into the GPS and view the caches it does not let me see the recent logs for the cache. These logs are viewable on the display screen in easyGPS so i know that the pocket query contains that info. Is it possible to view recent logs for a cache in the Oregon 200, i imagine it is as there is a button called recent logs but it just shows a blank page when selected. If so can someone please explain where i may have gone wrong so i can try and get this working Thanks in advance Jamie
