user stats--suggestion on listing logged caches
Frolickin replied to Daphne of Mysteries Inc's topic in Website
Yes, it used to be easier to look up a user's logs for the day. But, you can get the same thing by going to the search page and searching by user name. It does not look just like My Cache Page, but you can search for all finds by a user. You will be able to determine the day they were found. I found McToys. How come they aren't showing on the stats page? Fro. ________________________________________ Geocaching . . . hiking with a purpose

Great Mickey. At this rate, since Mopar doesn't log caches with any timeliness, you'll be ahead of him by the end of the month. I am looking forward to this. Fro. ________________________________________ Geocaching . . . hiking with a purpose

In jest or not, this is not language for a 12 year-old to read, imo. Fro. ________________________________________ Geocaching . . . hiking with a purpose

Newspaper running caches this weekend

Geocaching Trademark - Yes, I did file a trademark for Geocaching. My intent was to protect the name from being trademarked by some other entity, and enforced to remove the use of geocaching as the name of the game. If you check out netsaint.org (great program, by the way), you'll see the result of not claiming a trademark. Fortunately, the game has gotten enough press and the name is now widespread enough where it is unnecessary to protect the name. Therefore I am no longer pursuing the trademark, except as it related to sales of goods with the Geocaching logo designed by Grounded, Inc. You are free to use the word geocaching in any form you like. However, any creative of mine (logo, "you are the search engine" quote) is owned by Grounded, Inc. and me. Feel free to make your own logo and quote for the sport if you like. If you create a fan site and want to use my logo, as long as you have it link back to me I'm fine with it - just let me know out of common courtesy. I just tested this with my iPAQ and IE and all works as it should. Just for reference, Fro. ________________________________________ Geocaching . . . hiking with a purpose

Should there be a new twist to a subject, then it would be from that POV in which one would begin a new thread. Sigh . . . all boards seem to degenerate over time. I picked up a blueberry bush driving out of Wharton a few months ago. The thing has at least doubled in size already. The guy told me to pick off the buds this year. Next year he promised a bountiful harvest! Fro. ________________________________________ Geocaching . . . hiking with a purpose

The mail was backed up with 10,000 messages until late last evening. That would explain why notifications would not have gone out. I agree with Divine in that someone who logged the TB probably re-submitted multiple copies. Fro. ________________________________________ Geocaching . . . hiking with a purpose

Garmin vs. Magellan - putting them to the test!

Listen-it doesn't help to keep bringing things like this up. I paid for that one: tow, flowers, dinner. That one was even. But if she hears about it again, I will have to pay again. Sheesh Mopar, don't you know anything about women? Truthfully, my wife is the greatest! She didn't understand the Friday, Saturday, Monday thing with our anniversary lodged in between. But she allowed it to happen. I just wished I could have convinced her to hit some of the caches in Old City after Mama Mia. FWIW, the show was my idea for I knew she would like it. Thanks everybody. Finds can only happen when others hide them. Thank you all for hiding so many great caches. Fro. ________________________________________ Geocaching . . . hiking with a purpose
