The main purpose of our Pocket PC tracking software is to send your location to a server. Friends, family, colleagues can see your current postion and a breadcrumb trail on any web browser.
However, it does work well for geocaching. It can store waypoints, display the waypoint on a map, and has a small compass rose showing distance and heading to the waypoint.
The application works best if the PDA has an internet connection as the maps come from the server. The best hardware are the pocket PC's with built-in GPS. It will work with a bluetooth GPS but carrying the extra device on a long hike is not ideal.
