I found a cache that was waterlogged...just a real mess. When I logged my find, I used "Needs Maintenance" rather than "Found". As a result, I don't show this cache as found in my log. Can I add a "Found" log as well?

I'm a new cacher also. I spent 2 days playing with my new GPSr before I went out. Then I logged on and discovered there were 2 caches hidden on a local hiking trail I was familiar with. I found both (With the help of ZORRO and Bess) within 2 hours. At one point I had to put my GPS down, and let it rest. I carry a small backpack with; First Aid kit, multi tool, long tweezers, camera, pens, paper, my caching journal, and snacks. Bessie the Wonder Dawg carries her own backpack with her water and snacks, ZORRO packs the 3 liter camel.

ZORRO and I have been watching movies, playing FPS games on out PC's and wishing it would get above 39 degrees. We've had wonderful sun the past few days, but it's too cold for him to get out. I spent some time plotting our next outing, and dreaming of places to hide. I love my new hobby, I just wish I could spend more time doing it.

This is my first day reading the forums. I'm new to caching and have 2 finds. I've found lots of useful information in here today. So, thanks to all the nice folks who have helped me. I hope to post with the groups here and be helpful, and occasionally entertaining.
