  4. I use a pair of 30 yr. old LLBEAN bearpaws work great in powder, easy to get off and on. Neoprene bindings.
  5. If anyone can go to an Army Base they have some excellent quality cold weather gear.

  10. Around 2 years ago I met 4 other geocachers in Arizona near Sedona, near the Airport traded tb's and stories, nice folks.
  11. Something I tried recently was a Tuna Steak, lemon pepper variety, Got them from the super Walmart, not bad and tasty.
  12. For colder temps I use my NF Hot Tamale, or Blue Kazoo, for summer I sometimes use a Army Poncho with liner and or wool blanket.
  13. The Army makes a gortex rain jacket, no pockets but it has a hood works good zipper and velcro on the cuffs, downside it's cammo.
  14. Some years ago I bought a mini-expresso maker from GSI Outdoors, never used it anyone else have an opinion how this would work.

I'm having a problem with myVista CX, I've loaded in my computer the trip and waypoint manager disc, Ive marked waypoints on the map with flags, connected everything the program says the waypoints say there loaded to the GPS but when I check waypoints nothing, I'm close to sending it back and using my old yellow etrex, any ideas? One more thing the GPS is on when I try this.
  21. I got the Vista CX and it's great. Need to get used to all the bells and whistles.
  22. I just spoke with customer service about this it's there opinion that it's WAAS related and they'll be releasing software to solve the problem.
