  1. Thanks GG! While waiting for a reply I sussed it! Cunning these little machines
  2. Hi all! Tried out our sparkly new GPS today in and around Blyth. We found 5 caches but we are unable to upload the logs. I've gone to my profile to find 'add field notes' but it isn't there! I understood that this is the way to log my finds??? Any help with a Garmin Dakota 10 much appreciated. MrsGyp
  3. Wow! You lot are quick off the mark - I've found lots! Thank you so much, looks like we'll be busy.
  4. I've noticed that some Canary Island caches are listed under Spain. Is there any way of searching for Lanzarote caches, or does anyone know of any? I'm not climbing into volcanoes, though! Thanks in advance, Mrs Gypminer.

  9. Yipee! What a way to start the New Year! We got our first FTF at Carsington Water this morning, thanks to Val and David. A super little cache if anyone wants a go, the first set of co-ordinates and the clue are spot on. We left a very special TB there, too! Have a great caching year everyone! Gypminer and Lisa
  10. Happy New Year to all geo-cachers and happy hunting for 2005 Enjoy New Year and don't have too much falling down water Mrs Gypminer x
  11. We are very new to this caching mallarkey, only started in October! While we were searching for T'Owd Man and His Stone Cat in Derbys we met Darrach and his wife. Joined up for a while, continued the search but neither of us found the cache, not until the following week anyway. So, bumped into fellow cachers on our second time out - is that a record?
  12. Flippin' 'eck!!! Took me ages to read this thread I've sent in our stats for Oct Deego, hope it's ok for a couple of newbies to join in the fun. We've only been caching for a couple of weeks so we are no threat whatsoever. Thanks! Lisa and John
  13. Anchor Supplies, Peasehill Rd, Ripley, Derbys DE5 3JG 01773 570137 Just tel them, they have these in stock, £3.50 each bogof, but bogof offer not available for mail order.
  14. Mmmmmmmmm. I saw them with my own eyes!!! There must have been 50 plus, outside in a crate. They were graded from the size you have stated up to very big I'll tel them later.
  15. We saw these today at an Army surplus place in Codnor, Derbys. £3.50 each for the small ones, big ones (too big!) were £5 bogof!!! "Anchor Supplies"
  16. Thanks Yorkstan, just what we needed!!!
