Yes!! As a Geocoin owner who gets tired quickly of all the emails from people "grabbing" the coin at an event, I think this is a great idea. If I understand correctly, this will allow cachers to get the coveted "icon" on their profile, yet it won't generate an email to the bug/coin owner. Thanks Jeremy!

While I think it is an interesting idea, I wouldn't take part in it. It would take too much time and energy away from Geocaching!

We are in site #8 (although it said #8 changed to #11) I see that both sites are taken, so who knows?? I'll wait for the confirming email.. See you there!

I find it interesting that even though I pre-paid for these over a month ago, I still haven't received them, (their website does say shipping to be mid-to late October) yet they are showing up for sale on Ebay- CT: The ones that were received early were shipped directly from Coins and Pins. Then they had to send our allotment to us at USA Geocoins. From that point we had to pack, post, and ship nearly 800 coins. As of yesterday afternoon all of the Compass Rose Geocoin orders placed with USA Geocoins have been shipped. Please allow appropriate time for the post office to deliver these packages. Thanks for the update!

Hello- I am an avid coin collector, and I can tell you from experience that at least around here, this is next to impossible. (Getting a roll of state quarters, all different states) For the first couple of years of the State Quarter program, I would be able to go in to the bank and get at least one roll as they came in. Now the bank says they don't get them anymore. Seems like a lot of people are hoarding them, as well as the new nickels. That being said, I have plenty (Yup, I've been hoarding too!) enough that I could send you one of each to start your cache up with if you like. Just PM me and we'll work it out. Good luck!!
