sorted , found it ,,,,, I still have to find 28 more cache's
-
where do I find out how many of the 35 cache's need , I have found , I've got all the gem and been awarded the souvenir oh I use the web site on my PC
-
in short what dprovan has said , I have had time when I've wanted to write something about a TB and would have liked a place to do it , like ( PERSONAL NOTES ) on cache pages not everyone thinks the same , not everyone uses thing like dropbox or clouds , I use ground speak and I’d like to have that option , others may not like the idea , some might like it and say wow why didn't I think of that . I don't use all the functions available to me , but that doesn’t mean they’re not a good idea , how can we ever go forwards if every suggestion is looked at negatively
-
Crazedllama I like that , but I'm not the best with technology , and why do we have to keep using third party web sites , why not keep it all in house just a thought
-
Yes - Sorry this is for the C.O only ...... some where to save , all your notes re - your cache , could be a photo of the cache container , so you can forward it after receiving a DNF ( so you can show none finders what they were looking for ) photos of items which you've used to build a multi , plaques on seats , grave stones ( for when cacher's say I made the number for (A) = 3 but in fact it needs to be (A) + 7 ? see photo )
-
personal notes please don't confuse this with LOG a note which is only able to be seen by the author and no one else , not even by the T.O
-
This I'd like to see as a ( FINDER ) personal note , is what is says personal notes and the ability to add a photo to your notes would be a nice option ..... this might not before every ones liking , but its an option I'd like to see and be able to use . on the back of that it would be nice if the set up page , whan you activate a TB , prompted you to add a photo

Personal Notes and photo's on Trackable (TB) pages
-
okay I have attempted to ask this question ( searched this section ) but failed to find anything so here my thought / suggestion which I for one would like to see adopted and the web page updated to enable the idea ...... so please think like I am , and think would I like this , would I use the function if it was available . okay Personal Cache Note I would like to be able to upload photo's to this function on the page , photo's for just me to see , and not for others , for use when I've say set a multi , a photo of the item I used to collect the numbers from ?

Really .... see I hadn't thought along them lines I just want to reward CO for placing great cache's which aren't just film pots tossed on the ground next to gate posts -

I like the way you've worded that ... it's high lighted issues which I'd not thought of ..... but oak tree's don't start as oak trees , they start from little ( acorns ) ( seeds ) and look what they grow in to , this suggestion might not be the answer , but its put it out there , sorry if its ( again ) -

as it stands I have only THREE FP's avalible to give / award at present I think the thread has been lost .... and the suggestion I had was to earn a FP every time a cache ( you own ) receives a FP ........ -

you missing the point , its just a suggestion , but I feel your negativity , respect where respect is due ? all I can say is sorry to the CO's of inivative cache's which I found and can't award a Favourite point -

I’ve exhausted my direct local area of findable cache’s and have to drive further and further afield to find cache’s these days which isn’t always convenient ( work life balance ) But I do enjoy placing cache’s for others to find , and though this was a genuine way of earning FP’s to in turn award to others -

sorry . I checked to see if I could find any mention of such an idea before I posted my suggestion , seem we can't please everyone all the time ..... how do we change thing with out having a say ...... I've said it be for ... I pay to play and I'd like to have a say ? I know cacher's who never give Favourite points away ? I feel there are cache's out there which aren't getting the recagintion they deserve , just because I haven't managed to find ten cache's proyer to finding this one which I think stands out from the rest I like to have the worth cache's rewarded to reflect the time and efort the C.O has put in to placing it for us to find -
Recently I have found some really outstanding, well-constructed, well positioned and well maintained cache’s. The problem is I haven’t found enough cache’s to build up enough FP’s to give to the new cache’s which truly deserve them. Okay I get that you have to earn the FP’s to award to cache’s you like ? But here’s my suggestion – Change the way FP’s can be earned by giving cache owners a Favourite point every time one of their cache’s gets a FP.

I have just found this issue too , I for one don't like the latest update
-
I do too ... I play by my own set of rules , but they aren't set in stone . If I find a TB in a cache which I haven't logged before I will ( help it on its way ) take it ? If I return repettedly to the same cache I tend to ( SWAP ) If its a TB Hotel I try to look at the missions on individual TB' s saying that most don't have their mission attached , but thats a different story for another thread , so If I think I can help a TB meet its mission I will take it , but its nice to find a TB , in the listed cache that is listed as being in ? the last word on this is LOG-UM KEEP-UM MOVIN , IF YOUR NOT GOING TO MOVE THEM SOON ( Two ish weeks ) DON'T TAKE THEM , LEAVE THEM FOR SOMEONE WHO WILL , you can all ways DISCOVER them ......
-
Your not going mad , it was a thing if you like to call it a thing , I have found a cache located inside the Tourist information bureau ..... the cache most probably has been there a long time , and was placed before the rule was writen .. the cache was nice and dry , but it didn't stop the trackable inventory being messed up ,three TB's listed , none were in the cache and it had been that way for months looking back to see when they'd been left
-
I to looked , and failed to find what I was looking for , so for a ( newbie ) its a mind field , and items just like in the photo are being attached to trackables , as they don't know any better , the point I was trying to get across was , there is a need to educate everyone not just newbies , with out guideline / rules / and a bit of common sense the game will be come feral. the photo was posted , to see what comments would arise , and to be honest I'm surprised and shocked at some of the reasons to support such and item being attached to a trackable even after links were posted to the ground speak guidance page ,
-
why attach it in the first place ..... all this cover the point , hammer it , cut it off , just have some common sence , and attach a none harmful item in the first place GUIDELINES ARE NEEDED ,
-
this is what I'm getting at , guidelines , advice , call it what you like , I think common sence should pervale , just because there is no rule doesn't make it okay ?
-
this would make sense , guidance is better than no guidance , it would be a start
-
your right , only seen in the gallery ? and NOT in a cache I'd like to think , your idea is what is going to happen , and its for discovering only , and not to be set free . again time for the guide lines to be updated to give an idea what not to attach to your TB's , like the advice given as to what not to leave in a cache , not that new cacher's read the advice and still leave , sweets , dog treats , lighters , etc
-
this is my thoughts too time to re-think the guide lines re-what you attach to a tB
