  1. Well, it had to happen... After the success and vast growth of Motorway Mayhem caches, they had to spawn an off-spring... Let me introduce you to A-Road Anarchy, they follow the same principles as Motorway Mayhem, just using smaller roads. I would give you a link to an example, but I beleive it's not the done thing to advertise your own caches...
  2. Hmmmmm.... That trig looks familiar Brian!
  3. Click on getting started on the main geocaching site, they have a link to several logs...
  4. No mole hills here... Image theft is an extremely serious subject at all levels of the photography industry! And should not be dismissed at any level.
  5. Well done Jon, hope to hear what caches you've been doing soon... Congrats Mate Badger
  6. Yes, issue them an invoice for the usage rights of the images, quote off www.alamy.com for a guide to prices, then threaten with legal action if they refuse to pay... Or you could ask them politely to remove the images and ask for permission first.
  7. When you mark it as found, it also stores it in the calender. Making it very easy to track back and log the caches that you have found... Not a gimmick at all, but a useful tool for the paperless cacher!
  8. I think I may struggle to do much this month!!!
  9. That Yvette Fielding has gone down hill somewhat... The tears of laughter are still streaming down my cheeks after watching it for a third time! More class from the Elph Studios...
  10. Can't give the buggers away quick enough!!!
  11. Dougal, I'm based North Cheshire (Stockport area), I'll be at the Shropshire Event so can make some arrangements there. Matt
  12. Huge congratulations to the Purple Pineapples who have hit 400 today at Pen-Y-Ball Top. Well done to the pair of you Matt
  13. How about stick a pin in the map and place it at that location... Or you could do what other cachers do, research a location, check for land owners and gain permission, then hide the cache and list it on the site! Hmmm, actually, it sounds easier to ask everyone else to do the work for you and then take the glory once the cache is active! (I'm considering the correct type of smiley to insert...)
  14. Well done to the both of you, I hope to see you again soon. Matt
  15. Sorry for the delay in responding, the answer is indeed 'Rhubarb' Matt
  16. Oooops, sorry... I haven't looked back until now to check on my answer. Next question: It's long thin, covered in skin; Red in parts and goes in tarts... What is it?
  17. Thanks everyone, I still have a couple of days out here, so may be pushing on for another marker... At least it's keeping me out of mischief!
  18. Thanks all for your messages... I only made 104 caches in 10 hours though! not the 105 planned, why? Well, I got to the event and wanted to eat and have a beer quickly, so forgot about the cache close by! So it's only 948 so far... but, I have another plan of attack, which may yield a similar amount of caches before my return... maybe more... Matt (aka: Badger) Still caching in Texas! ***EDIT*** Oooops, forgot to say, I had a day off on Monday to relax and induldge in some Retail Therapy... and a few more beers!
  19. Fancy that, I managed to find one as well, while out here in Austin, Texas... The more the merrier I say!
  20. Congrats to you all, I'll be there soon I hope! Matt
  21. You could also stay at the Stanneylands Hotel, approx 2 miles from the airport. This has the Ringway TB Hotel very close (within 600 feet). I would link to it, but i don't want to promote my own cache. Matt
