  1. Yea. Seems to me it should work. Thanks for the heads up PS Another question??? Why a tadpole?
  2. Ok. I got an email from Garmin. Heres what he said. Thank you for contacting Garmin International! The 60CS will not have the same connections as the Rino 110, so the charger will not work. Well thats wierd. Looking at my manual for the 110 and comparing it to the manual for the 60 cs. All connections are exactly the same. I wonder if the plug is a bit different. i dont have the 60 cs yet so i cant try and plug it in. They both have a 4 pin round plug . Hmmm.
  3. You smell like one, though I just looked carefully at the cigarette lighter cord that I use for my 60CSx. As far as I can tell, there is no stepdown circuit in either end of the cord, so the GPS is seeing the entire 12 volts supplied from the vehicle. So I would think that the cord from your Rino should work fine. Your right. I do smell tadpole like. Can you do me a favor Lil devil. Throw a meter on your adapter and tell me if it is indeed 12 volts at the business end of the cord..You sound like you would own a meter or 2.
  4. Hi. I am wondering if you guys or gals may know my question. I have a 12 volt cigarette lighter power cord that is intended for my rino 110. I am wondering if this adapter will work on my 60 cs. My rino takes three 1.5 volt batteries (4.5 volts)where the 60 cs takes 2 (3 volts). What it says in the 60 cs owners manual is.. "Source. 2 1.5 volt AA batteries OR 12 volt adapter cable OR up to 36 volt dc external power." So this means to me that the gps has a voltage regulator and you can input up to 36vdc so the rino adapter will work. Hmmmm. Thanks for any input. Thats funny. I dont feel like a tadpole.
