This idea has my support. I normally post a note on the traveler page if I don't find it in the cache, and also mention it in my cache log. Just posting a note doesn't seem sufficient. It shouldn't be too hard to add a "report missing" log option. I've wondered before why the only log options are "retrieve", "grab", "discover", and "write note". I would support leaving it in the cache inventory, with a strikethrough in the name.

I just purchased a Dell Axim X5 PocketPC, and am trying to get the Wherigo player on it. I need to get the .net framework on it. I have tried to install the .net cf 2.0, and when that didn't work, I downloaded .net cf 3.5. In both cases, when I try to install it, I get a message on my PPC, "The file '\Windows\AppMgr\Install\Microsoft .NET CF (version #).CAB' is not a valid Windows CE Setup file." Any suggestions? I have tried finding answers on Microsoft's website, but I can't find anything on there that I can understand.

Well, I've marked the tag as missing for now. I hadn't really thought about the muggle possibility. I've never been to a GPS Adventures Exhibit, so I don't know how they police the trackables left there. I do believe they advertise these things as a way to get more people interested in caching, so there could very well be people there that don't have the concept of trackables. I guess I'll just have to hope it shows up again.

Does anyone know what happens to trackables that are still in the maze when they move it?

It wasn't actually an event. It was a maze exhibit hosted by Groundspeak. I sent an email through Groundspeak's profile (linked from the cache page), but didn't get a response.

I have been wondering what to do about a trackable I own. It was logged in the GPS Adventures Maze Exhibit in Nashville. This exhibit has been archived, with my travel tag still in it. Can I expect my tag to resurface elsewhere, or do I need to mark it as missing? I notice there are a lot of other trackables listed there also.
