where did you get your puter? i had the same problem when i bought my merrigold. i went to the shop that i bought my puter and the told me that "because the newer components that hook up to a puter are usb conections, they decided not to give me a serial port." after i explained that i needed it, they installed one for free. now i can hook straight up and everything works. just an option.

i have a 1 gig card in mine and it works great. i bought a sd card writer and have from the arizona new mexico border north through montana and all the way to the pacific. and i still have tons of room.

was wondering if we were going to run on the same channel as last time. just trying to be prepared.

ok, so i changed my avatar to show the pic. as for the coords. the are N46 05.682 and W123 06.098. hopefully this helps a little.

i was wondering if anyone could tell me where i could find some info on this? it is on the side of hwy. 30 in rainier OR. the first thing i noticed was a white sign with the letters USBM. and about a foot away was a wooden post. just about everything was worn off of it, but if you look close you will see an imprinted 83 m on it. as soon as i can figure out how to upload pics here i will do so. maybe that will help a little. thanks, culp686.

ok so i now have a 1 gig card. how do i switch maps on my merrigold. i downloaded 5 reigons and it only shows one new one. please help!!!!!!!!!
