  1. Don't forget the fact that it'll ask you if you want it to point you to the next cache coords automatically.
  2. Where I live, carrying a gun without a license is quite illegal. Even if it were, I wouldn't do it.
  3. Is there any way to check whether this "almanac" has been loaded?
  4. The WAAS satellites have numbers above 32.
  5. I could really use some help finding this puzzle-cache: Rechthoek (Rectangle) It is in my area. The only info you have is a blue rectangle. Click on the UK flag for a description in English. Anyone a clue?
  6. He is probably a Wizard turning TB's into Portkeys... (read Harry Potter if you don't get the above)
  7. Anyone feel like using the metric system here? It's a worldwide, standardized system, and it really works, you know! I'm getting tired of people telling me they are 6 degrees and 4 minutes (or whatever) tall. And then they weigh 305 LoBSters..! BFM - 1m87, 86 kg.
  8. Would this work for other portable storage devices, too? Wouldn't it mess up the HTML-like format found on many cache pages?
  9. Another thing to add to the short list "what to bring when seeking a cache"!
  10. I don't think there is some sort of Travel Bug option. The 'FOUND' button is a manual one.
  11. Yes, I have. I feel GSAK does the job of managing waypoints better, but maybe I'm only basing this on good criticism from geocachers...
  12. Is there some "light" (and free) version of GSAK around? I don't need most of the advanced features - I'm just looking for a few functionalities of the type "select waypoints with a certain area". (I downloaded the full version but don't like the nag screens)
  13. Is there a way to find an address based on the street name only? It seems there is no 'OK" button when I try to do this.
  14. Is it possible to find an address only based on Street Name? I never get an 'OK' button when typing in a name. Does it need a City, too?
  15. Nice article on the 246 record: http://www.todayscacher.com/2004/nov/people3.asp
  16. Post here what you think are the most original and creative goals and missions of existing Travel Bugs, and especially why. Post a picture and the URL, too. Spotted Friend TB To be photographed with the oldest directional markers in the area. --> this gives such nice pictures! Not only of geocachers, but people will add also the name of the location, and sometimes a little history of the place. Elvis Elvis wants to return home to Graceland. --> this gives people the incentive to dress up as Elvis, and be photographed with the TB. Surely - there must be more creative goals out there....
  17. Then they need a GPRS connection too, don't they?
  18. This one has a very nice page layout: Rottige Meenthe The puzzle is cool, too. Find 10 waypoints and put the given photos in the right order.
  19. ... start a receiver-specific question with its name in the topic.
