ok so, apparently i can't do this on geocaching, so what do i need to do to mark my friends haunted house as a intersting place to visit?

well how about a vitual?

ok so my friend is doing his haunted house again this year at castle park(riverside, CA). can i post that as a event cach for anyone that wants to come out and get the bagesus scared out of them? i remember asking this a few years ago, and some one said to ask the person that monitors the caches for my area. who is that?

i don't have a credit card. so e-bay is pretty much a last resort.

so i got my first GPS today. a garmin etrex. is there anyone in the southern california/IE area that has a com cable they want to get rid of?

well thats why you'd make a show about it, to give prople a reason to want to try it. as a family activity, as a personal hobby, or just to add some fun to exercise. or, of corse, as a psychotic obsesion, but i think im only speaking for my self on that last one.

can you use that with GPS programs on a laptop, or is it just for loading waypoints? im looking for something that i can see GPS info in real time (or close to it) on my computer, but also keep the portability of a hand held P.S. im realy new to GPSr. i get the satalite stuff and know how it works, but the whole geekdome of useability is beond me.

ok well, i have been intrested in geocaching for a while now, but my broke butt doesn't have a GPSr. so i was wondering if anyone would let me tag along in a day/night of geocaching. i have a old laptop with wireless so we could do updates in the field. let me know. i got a 8mm handy cam and some editing programs. im down to help. i also have a old server we can host videos on. could always just do a few 10min long videos with music and such.

are there any hand held GPS units that you can also plug in to a computer via USB port?
