  1. I'm not able to get there either for the past 15 mins
  2. Just wondering, did anyone happen to get thru and place an order?
  3. Received my coins today! They are absolutely awsome! They turned out great and when I showed my wife even she was all excited as the wheels could spin! Thanx so much for this great design and great coin!
  4. Just to let people know, the spelling error "provnce" has been addressed (in case anyone noticed )
  5. I am happy to announce that the British Columbia Geocaching Association has designed a new coin for this year and the design has been finalized! As we await samples so that we can choose final plating choices we would like to share with you our concept. A few facts of the coin: 1. The coin will be 2 inches diameter. 2. This coin with be a combination suncatcher with a solid coin suspended in the middle! 3. The front rope braid will be 3D. Check out the hanging loop on the top 4. The First Nations artwork is of the Raven which symbolizes collecting things, as they are witty and sly, hiding their finds from others! The top raven has human eyes in it showing the transformation from raven to man. It depicts the "enlightenment" of discovering new places! 5. We had to wrestle the mint to get them to see that this coin is possible! (thanks to our producers (Landsharkz) for fighting for us!) 6. We are so excited we wanted to post here even though samples aren't in yet! Stay tuned for more info coming soon!!
  6. Any idea yet on when you will put this coin up for sale and for how much? Many people eagerly awaiting!
  7. bah....thought I would throw my idea in.... how bout for the name: G-Spot (short for Geocaching Spot (tradtional Dick, Jane, Spot kinda feel!) and the tip 1: Bag It trash bags .Very handy and compact 12 bags per roll in a handy little container that can hang off tip 2: baby backpack (or frontpack) to keep the gps and leash holding hands free!
  8. Thanx to those of you who had entered my cointest! As it's hard to judge for the "best" tree as each tree means so much to each owner I chose the winner by something I liked from their pic. And go figure that I narrowed it down to 2 but couldn't choose between them so both of them win! My 2 choices are the trees owned by --- sunsetmeadowlark and GATOULIS --- sunsetmeadowlark's tree had the winning touch from the background fish that looks like its sitting atop the tree! very nice! and the glowing pic shows the tree in the beautiful lights! GATOULIS' tree has the most detailed manger scene I have ever seen! Will the winners send me your mailing addys so that I can send you your prize! Thanx again to everyone who participated and Merry Christmas!
  9. Only a bit of time left to get in on this cointest! Get your entries in!
  10. "Yesterday in my mail: Linux micro Mouskakat gold and a MB 'the G-mas cache' (never seen it before) It's a trackable coin" "the G-mas cache" coin is our personal christmas coin and the "G" is actually a shout out to the BCGA (British Columbia Geocaching Association) as its the symbol we use for the "G" in BCGA. It also represents a cross between "x marks the spot" and a G for geocaching . I wanted to include a bit of British Columbia (my caching home)! http://www.bcgeocaching.com/index.php?name...tent&pid=16
  11. WOW....I feel honored that you picked the nick I choose! Such a beautiful little one you have there! I'm sure Tankerbell will be an avid cacher! Hope your holidays are very merry and again thanx for the honor as with all the good choices out there I don't envy you having to pick just one!
  12. HMMMmm...i think i should have put a little more thought into this one! just because my wife makes me put up the tree on the 1st of December doesn't mean everyone has their tree up that early! I have extended this cointest to run until christmas eve and will announce the winner say boxing day! Hope that gives everyone a better chance!
  13. Tis the X-mas season..so what better time for a cointest! Make it two! 1st COiNTEST: Best Christmas Tree Pic! Post a pic of your christmas tree and I will choose my favorite out of the bunch! Cointest runs from now until December 14th (midnight pacific time, so technically the 15th!) This should be a pic from this year! Winner gets one of our mariobros X-mas coins!
  14. To anyone who has already recieved their coins: I thought it would be neat to see if anyone has them displayed on their tree! post pics here!
  15. Just a quick note letting everyone know that the little chains came with the LE coins only! Was suppoed to be a lil add-on for the LE versions. Sorry for the confusion!
  16. Uh oh....is it a bad thing that I have in design one of the already suggested "bad coins".....been working on it for the last two weeks and then I decided to check this thread out....uh oh....how much interest is there for a coin with a slightly darker sense of humour?
  17. All orders have been completed and shipped! We still have some in each finish available for those interested! Enjoy the coins! Brian
  18. This is the RE Edition of our X-MAS coin!! Hard to tell from my pics (poor color quality pics don't do the coin any justice!) but the front has a dark blue transparent enamel for a dark sky and the back has a dark red transparent enamel for a deep red look to it. Still have some available for those who are interested and they are now in hand! Should be lots of time to recieve them before the holiday season!!
  19. Just got word that I should receive the coins next week!!! We still have some left of each finish if anyone is interested. These should have plenty of time to make it before the Holiday season!! The RE version is nice and dark and the lights show up great!! Pics of that one coming soon!
  20. Here are the pics of the two LE versions (chrome and gold) we have avaiable with the RE pics coming soon!
  21. Production was scheduled to be done today! Waiting to get some pics to post anyday now!
  22. approx. preview of LE platings
  23. I can tell you from my experience selling coins so far that size only matters when the design is specific enough to need a larger coin. Other then that it doesn't matter. The trackable/non-trackable issue can vary too. Personally, I have found that many people, even though they probably won't send the coins out in the wild, enjoy the tracable aspect perhaps to make each coin unique (as no tracking number is used twice so in a way it's like numbering them without an order!) For myself, with exeption to our first coin, all of our coins have been trackable due to needing to be to sell them in these forums. If you don't intend to sell the coins here, don't worry about it as much. People enjoy a non-trackable coin alot if the design is to their liking! In the end, people love coins that are unique and personal coins are usually just that! Hope your designing goes well and have fun with it! It's my favorite part of the process!

    Coin Ideas

Just thought I would start a topic that I'm sure we could all participate on! I'm looking for ideas on what kinda coin YOU would like to see. As I have seen many different coins out there, what type of coin haven't you seen that you would like to see!? Also, what are your favorite attributes of coins out there (ie. suncatcher style, shaped coins etc) - what would you like to see on a coin!
