  1. Thank you all for your input. I thought this may have been what I would come up against, but wanted to be sure. It would still be a fun find, though
  2. I was thinking about this on my own property and blending it into the landscape. I guess I don't know why it wouldn't work since it is not fully buried with dirt on all sides. How would it be different from a cache that is placed in a hole, thus being underground??
  3. A friend of mine has his outside his business. It sounds like his staff have helped give many many clues to help geocachers find his hide. Me, I went after hours to avoid muggles so didn't have that extra help
  4. I have thought about making a cache out of a bucket with a screw on lid. the bucket would be buried up to the rim, and then a fake bush or rock or something would be attached to the lid. To open the cache, you would have to unscrew the "bush" Would something like this be allowed?
  5. I have asked permission from two Park & Rec departments and they both LOVED the idea. I also let them know where the cache was placed so that they could let me know if there was any problem with the location, and so that if park workers stumbled upon it, they would know what it was. You are best to ask permission since some parks allow and some don't. From what I've heard, Washington State doesn't allow them in the state parks, but I bet there are still some around
  6. HI I am Redtwin2 and I have been geocaching for about 3 years. Just recently, I hit my 100 mark. I also have just started lurking around the forums seeing if any topics cover something I hadn't thought about. It's all about education for me since I do not feel that I know enough yet to comment too much
