    Wonders of the World

    What are Wonders?
Wonders are digital stamps hidden in geocaches. Wonders help you fill your Wonders of the World passport. Collect them when you find and log geocaches. Search for geocaches that contain the Wonders you are looking for and collect them when you log the cache beginning August 12 at noon UTC.

How do I find and collect Wonders?
Plan your outings by searching for Wonders. Note: you have to collect all of the Modern Wonders before you can start collecting Ancient Wonders.
    1. Use filters to see geocaches that contain Wonders.Find and log geocaches 2. to collect the Wonders.
    3. Collect all the Modern Wonders to unlock the Ancient Wonders.
    4. Collect all of the Ancient Wonders to fill your passport and become the World Explorer.
    5. Keep track of your progress on the Wonders of the World page.

Until when? When will this end?

And how many specific geocaches needed to be found within his timeframe?

    Full of wonders, for sure...

  2. Well, just now, checked Mac Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Opera.

All four(4) browsers now show the My lists' list ok.

Oddly, try to show content of any list with the list-of-lists, Mac Safari give an Error that the list is private and does not show anything, somehow, although it's my own list.

However, Mac Chrome, Firefox, Opera all do show the list's content fine without any error.

Mac Safari an issue? Version 11.1.2 (11605.3.8.1) on Mac OS 10.11.6 (15G22010).

(And yes, I know it's old... Planning on getting a new Mac during this COVID-16 pandemic.)

A few days? It's already the 24th here and the email came through at 3:44am this morning, so for those of us with an E in front of our longitude, that's less than 24 hours notice. When I went to bed last night I'd planned to go down to Sydney today to do some caching, but have now postponed that so I can at least get off on a positive start.

Ahhh, sorry for not being 'inclusive' and 'considerate' of the E region, and the Southern hemisphere as well.

I wish GCHQ was also more so as well for this campaign. And also hope is a thoughtful for any other future campaigns as well.

Planning on going on vacation for a week from tomorrow, without much thought of Geocaching as traveling together with far-away visiting and non-cacher family. Priorities...

May need to 'beg' for a geocache find each day...

Apparently GC HQ decided to close the case way earlier than the official deadline. >:(
My wife logged a part of her finds yesterday and the rest of it this morning and now should have way more than 35 finds to open the vault. Oddly it stopped at 32 finds. :(
According to the FAQ the deadline for logging is 12:00 o'clock UTC and she logged before that deadline. I already logged all my finds yesterday and could close the case but not my wife. I did it with the official GC app yesterday but today (this morning) MATM
already disappeared within the app so she couldn't finish it with the app nor the website.
Today is her birthday, too, so you can imagine that she's quite pissed ... :(

    From the FAQ:
    "
Make sure to log your finds and attended logs by August 14 at noon UTC to earn the souvenirs."
    https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2019/06/mystery-at-the-museum-faq/

    (I'm from Germany btw.)

    Same issue here!

GCHQ definitely close the campaign way too soon!

I have logged my final 35th geocache around midnight last night August 13th in the EDT zone of East Coast U.S.A. which should be still 4 A.M. August 14th in UTC time being 4 hours ahead of EDT.

I have sent an email the GCHQ Support here contact@geocaching.com.

Oh wait! Just now received a replay from GCHQ, saying I have been awarded the last souvenir, and I do confirm! Hurray!

Hope everyone else logged in time got their last souvenir.

How would I add a flag counter to my profile?

Just click someone's Flag Counter, or go to http://s11.flagcounter.com/index.html

Set up what you want to have display and how, and then copy and paste the entire HTML code (NOT just the URL) into your Profile page by editing the "About' section in your Profile setting page https://www.geocaching.com/account/settings/profile

If you want to learn more about HTML code editing, just look at the actual HTML code of other people's Profile page, study and trace what they do. Trial and error, and that is the way I've self-taught how to edit HTML over these years. ;)

The web has much much more resources on HTML coding, obviously.

    Good Luck & Cache On!

No problem, I am three weeks in MOZ and on the JNB airport there is always free WiFi...

Yes, MOZ as new flag! My 50th country!

    Thank you very much!

  7. Same cannot login hence cannot download issue here as well.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but stil no go. Entering user name/email address & password, tap green sign in button, but nothing happens, and if go back, get pop up error Groundspeak Auth Error Error logging in. Cancel Retry Message, and just continues to fail. Useless app. I will stick with my Garmin Oregon 450.

I just posted a Found log for a 50+ Fav point geocache, but no adding of 50 points to my leaderboard point total.

    Weird...

After a wait, NOT immediately, and reloading the leaderboard a few times, it finally has been updated to include my 50 points to my total.

    Still just sluggish?

Maybe because I'm also NOT getting any notifications?

The geocache IS listed as Found by me today, and I have it on my Watchlist, but not message of my logging a Find.

Perhaps communication within the Geocaching system not functioning fully.

Site IS down now, and unfortunately cannot check anything on the website nor within the Geocaching iOS app.

Hope the cause gets identified, and all Geocaching gets back online soon.

Just worried that the ongoing Cache Carnival may get watered down on a should-be very busy Geocaching weekend.

    Extension, maybe?
