  1. Can I do a cache with instructions in Kerenewek? I wonder....
  2. II understand it's Cornish, Welsh and Breton that are closely related... and Manx, Gaelic and Irish are closely related to each other... Closlely enough that COrnish and Welsh speakers can converse quite happily...
  3. Add the Isle of Wight and Brownsea Island to that list... and certainly when I lived in The Lakes near Windermere we had Reds running over the roof of the house... but that was 18 years ago!
  4. When I was out caching today.. I was wandering down the side of the River Teign - When I'm pretty certain I saw an otter. Is this a) Possible? Likely? If not what else might it have been?
  5. Ah well only today - told an elderly couple of muggles that I was taking part in The National Mushroom Survey..... worked perfectly...
  6. Now you say Cornish - which version of Cornish are we talking about - I think at the last count theres 3. I'm really no expert, but yep I'm friendly with a Bard.. not The Bard - A Bard.... And I think you forgot Welsh.
  7. But How do you know it's a WNT? Just because you can't find it, dosen't mean it's not there? So isn't DNF a more accurate statement?
  8. Wasn't it... Beauty is only skin deep, but who wants a pretty pancreas?
  9. The Flag of St Piran - Simple - works either way up correctly.... Great bit of design... So good the Devonians have nicked it and added extra green bits and claimed it as their own....
  10. Is pretty well South of Manchester.... In Cornwall.. and use a PPC...
  11. Ohhhh G7BIM here... but I don't get that Morse Code stuff!
  12. Makes the idea of an underwater cache even more feasible.... Can you get waterproof pens? I mean can you write on the waterproof paper when it's wet?
  13. It's something I recall from an Old Bank of Scotland film... most of which was about burning Millions of Pounds in banknotes... But the actual quote came from the link below... The Scottish Quote....
  14. But - Pound Coins with the Scottish Coat of Arms on are minted by the Bank of England. Scottish Banks are not allowed to mint coinage!
  15. Commonly interchangeable maybe.... but... Scottish Banknotes aren't legal tender in England - or indeed in Scotland! An interesting feature of the Scottish banknotes issue has been the fact that they have never, apart from under temporary provisions introduced in both World Wars, been "legal tender" even in Scotland, although they are, of course, accepted as legal currency.
  16. Yet nobody mentions the Independent Peoples Republic of Kernow! and where does the Isle of Man fit in?
  17. Oh no chance Stuey - Tamar Bridge Passport Control have been alerted!
  18. Noo it's till fine if you take a Bird of Prey with you.. hunting....
  19. Ahhh a bit of a trip from Cornwall then... a bit dark as well!
  20. I think I'd be very wary of any drugs/medicines/food that I found in a cache... and if I was in the market for condoms then I think I'd want a "Trustworthy" supplier!! If that makes any sense...
  21. ....Yeah, they do have their uses , especially when one wants instructions on smilies Mrs B Just Grrrrrrsssss!
