I used to deal with Firmins and Co - in a previous life - The cost is in producing: a) The design and The dies that are used to produce the metal item? From Memory we were in the several £100s maybe a thousand or so.. per design..... I think what is needed - is someone who produces by a different process - Casting I guess - is what is wanted for short runs... but I'm no expert.

I got mine from Trago Mills - Means nothing if your not a Cornish/Devon type... My other new discovery is see through Duck tape - I use it to stick my laminated labels insde my caches. I've also used it to stick labels to 35mm micros.

I've had two caches moved - In neither case were they moved far - BUT - i knew where I'd hid them and I was pretty convinced that they'd gone. In one case I left it in it's new location as it was far better than my original, and was so close as not to put the coordinates out (Though I think it messed up a phone a friend attempt). The other I eventually found and moved back to it's original location. Grrrrrr
