  1. When I worked for my cartridge, I found a zone event when the player exit the distance range. The keyword 'OnNotInRange' can define the event when the player exit the distance range. This keyword is not shown in zone event list (such as enter nor exit) in builder, but it can be used by add into the lua file manually. This is the sample code. The zone name and script line should be modified to fit for each cartridge. function zoneZone1:OnNotInRange() -- #GroupDescription=Script -- -- #Comment=Script Comment -- Wherigo.MessageBox{Text=[[You have walked 100 meters.]],} end

  3. I'm working on a new cartridge with input dialog. It works well on Emulator, but it doesn't work well on my Colorado. When I input a string "ABC" and push "Done" button, I found only "B" letter instead of "ABC" Furthermore, I found some strange character in main screen. Does someone has similar experience? For my Colorado 300, Player version: 2.51 Wherigo Engine version: 2.11 I attached 4 files. 1. 246.jpg: item screen shot 2. 253.jpg: main screen shot 3. TestInput1.lua: Simplified lua file. I also found this error using this lua file. 4. TestInputString.gwl: log file when I played the above lua file. - Time range between Apr. 12 8:10-8:11: log worked on Colorado --> I found strange character in it. - Time range between Apr. 12 8:16-8:17: log worked on Emulator --> Works good TestInputString.zip

    Japan

I'm sure GPS sold in US works well in Japan. - Most current Japanese map use WGS84 coordinate system - I have Garmin Legend. I don't find major error. - My friends purchased GPS device in US. It works without any problem.
  13. We played the cartridge. The result was successful. Please see the report. http://tosygeocaching.blog117.fc2.com/blog-entry-50.html Some points of improvement, we felt the following during cache searching. The hardware: - iPAQ rx5965 - HTC cell phone and GPS receiver connected with Blue tooth (It is prepared by YONEYAMA) - I wanted to see the map during walking. But, we can't see any message when the cartridge run in background. If it pop even in background it will be better. - The cartridge didn't start when the GPS signal was week inside of the building. It shows like GPS device connection is not well. Anyway, we enjoyed the Wherigo .

  21. Thank you all, I am pleasure the good news from Garmin. Anyway, I have updated the cartrige to try to fit the current Colorado. - Change gif to jpg - Modify algorithm for variables to avoid to be minus value. I'm not sure that second change works, but one of the difference between variable for "Noodle" and "Hourglass" was the variable sometimes is minus value for hourglass. If someone try the new cartridge and inform the result, it will be appreciated.
