Geocaching in the snow is the only way to enjoy geocaching year round. I don't have any special tools, just dress warm and hope for the best, accepting that I'll probably not find them all because of the snow cover. In some ways it's easier to find caches in trees because of the lack of leaves, but most of the ground caches can be a real challenge depending on the amount of snow. I'm still new at this, just coming up on 50 finds (4 short) but haven't let the snow stop me from getting out and looking.
