  1. My girls still talk about their 1st "first find", 796.51 Keep on Cachein'
  2. What are the best caches in the area to do a little leaf peeping? I'd recommend this one for a start. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=21992
  3. If you're trying to weed it out of your garden make sure you get the WHOLE root. If you don't, it keeps coming back and the root gets bigger & bigger. I dug up a root the size of a football once.
  4. I watched you two smoke right past me on the insidecorner site. Job well done! I believe this makes 7 cachers in the northeast to reach 100 within the last month. By the time I get there, 100 will be a non-event.
  5. My last name is hyphenated, Baxter-Green. People have always shortened it to B-G. I descided to add a few "ee"'s and name myself after an awful 70's disco band...much to my wife's chagrin.
  6. We seem to be getting more & more cachers reaching the century mark. Well Done!
  7. That's alot of miles. EKitt10, I guess this makes you 2 the odds on favorite to win phase 3 of the Status Crow Cache. Nice Work
  8. The Staus Crow Hunt http://www.statuscrow.net/ The whole experience has been "Top Notch" and the final phase is yet to come Balls http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=21992 Great hike, great view 796.51 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=31088 Interesting change of pace Bottom of Lake Passaic III http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=24963 The first cache to kick mu butt. Went way of course, fell in the water, and still had a great time!

  10. What in the Wide, Wide, World of Sports is goin' on here? Slim Pickens - Blazing Saddles
  11. 100 Finds. And many of those were with a young son in tow. Pretty impressive for a guy who dresses funny. Well Done !
  12. Well, all 10 personal caches have been found so it's all up to Status Crow now. Just wanted to wish the best of luck to the rest of "The Ten". Regardless of who wins, I've had a blast so far. Have fun and be safe.

  14. Hi dmdeitz I think you can clear things up with the following steps: Click on "S-Car-Go" under the TB icon at the top right corner of the cache page. Click on "Found it. Log it" on the TB page On the "type" line enter " have it". Enter the tracking #. And lastly, UNcheck the box that says "item was retrieved from the Turtle Back Rock cache". I believe this should clear things up without messing up the mileage. Someone else might want to verify this. Good Luck

  16. I'll be sure to leave something after I retrieve the cache.

  18. Did you mean leaving an indication on the web page or at the cache site. If it's at the cache site, it won't stop people from driving like idiots. I'm not sure that's it's neccessary. We seem to be behaving ourselves so far. PS. It's under the big "W"
  19. There are 3 things that bother me about the cooling magma theory. 1 - All of lines are the same diameter. I would think they would vary a little 2 - Very few of the cracks in the boulders occur in one of the etched lines. I would think these would be the weakest points and the first to fracture. 3 - If the lines are from cooling magma, how do they occur on several sides of a boulder or rock wall? On the other hand, if they were carved, it should would have taken a long time. Those lines are everywhere.
