Howdy Rich ! Congratulations. That's quite a milestone. I appreciate all of the help you gave me last fall with some local info. I still have one of your magnets holding hundreds of papers to my refrigerator.

As I stumbled into the bathroom this morning, I looked into the mirror and saw an attached tick waving to me from the center of my chest. Before reading this thread I wouldn't have been that concerned but now I'm paranoid. Depending on which of my finds from yesterday that he jumped on, he was attached from 13 to 18 hours. I though Hart was kidding about leaving ticks as signature items Now I guess it's off to my GP with my tick in a ziplock. Wish me luck.

Congratulations Mike & Kieu. That's quite an achievement. It's time to celebrate with a nice sardine sandwich.

When Hart did my "Passaic River Ramble" cache in the flooding rain and snow, I told him that he was either a superman or an idiot. Today I vote SUPERMAN. Well Done ! -
With just 1 hide and 1 find under their belt, Status Crow put together a great geocaching event. 10 Crowbars (little metal coupons with individual serial #s) were hidden through-out NJ. The first person to find each coupon was given coordinates to their very own personalized cache. The cache contained a long sleeve t-Shirt with the cachers name & Geocaching logo (this was before use of the old logo became an issue) The cache also contained a key to be used in the mysterious 3rd phase of the event. Unfortunately due to fried laptop, the 3rd stage was postponed indefinitely. Even without stage 3, I thought this event was very well organized and a lot of fun. Status Crow hasn't been active since the event stopped so we may never know what stage 3 entailed but I still have my key Event details & pictures can still be seen at http://statuscrow.net

At this pace, you should reach 1000 just in time for your 2 year anniversary on Aug 29th. Congrats again.

My whole family, as a unit, are nerds: N - Nicole E - Emily R - Rachel D - Deana S - Scott (me) Hey, I kind of like that. I would even consider changing my user name if I didn't have to start my "find" total from scratch.

Congratulations Brian, Personally, I can't think of anyone who has contributed more to my enjoyment of this hobby than you have. All of your caches have been challenging, well planned, and entertaining. (Well, except maybe that lame roadside one ) So which will come next, your 200th find or you 100th hide? Do me a favor and hide them near one of your newer caches up north. I've been looking for an excuse to get up there. Let me know how much and I'll get a check in the mail.

Since When Were Virginia & W. Virginia in the Northeast?

quote: Get those people out of here! I thought this forum was for NJ cachers only. Hey, I'm not prejudice. Some of my best friends are non-New Jerseyans. Besides, half of New Jersey is south of Wheeling, West Virginia. -
Looks like Orange/Jungle Green hit the century mark today!
The BeeGees replied to etoast66's topic in Northeast
I've been meaning to ask you two something. By now you have at least 100 boxes of crayons (minus the orange & jungle greens of course). That's almost as many as I have on my living room floor on any given day. What do you do with all of those left over crayons??? -
You may end up with an unwanted travel bug.

I've got a tag that's ready to roll!

Well Folks, It looks like my 'Crags Cache' has been stolen. I knew it was trouble when a veteran like Waterboy with Wife couldn't find it. There was one sole survivor. I found a Jackie Chan figurine just downhill from the lookout shelter. I always knew this cache was too close to the trail and subject to unintentional discovery. The ironic thing was that I was about to archieve it anyway. I just wish that had been able to do it on my own terms. Thanks to all who visited.

If it's good enough for Floopy, it's certainly good enough for me.

Look forward to congratulating you on #800 this January.
