How long do I wait to take my daughter geocaching?
The BeeGees replied to Thack Pack's topic in General geocaching topics
quote: Breaktrack Virtual Defender! posted August 26, 2003 05:12 PM I have to admit up front this is a *pet-peeve* issue with me. It is only my opinion, and is not meant as a slam or flame on ANYONE, especially not the party initiating the thread, BUT.... It irks the bejesus out of me to see people taking new borns out to places where they have absolutely no business taking them!!! This is not to say a short Geocaching hike is bad, but taking a new born baby on an all day trip to AstroWorld, or Disney World, etc, etc, out in the sun, and exposed to any number of ignorant people who want to touch and fondle a baby... is unforgiveable! Is that a live tiger sitting with your children in the picture on your profile page? -
How long do I wait to take my daughter geocaching?
The BeeGees replied to Thack Pack's topic in General geocaching topics
Just use common sense. Our youngest daughter was 28 days old when I took her on 2 caches in a snuggly. Both caches were extremely easy 1/1 caches on level, well maintained paths. Now she's 17 months old and has 19 finds. She has yet to sign a log book. Do these finds still count? -
Encore, Encore !!! Truly amazing. Congrats on your millenium milestone.

Poll: Do you own a Tivo (or other DVR)?

Great moments in geocaching history

William Shackleton's search for someone to rescue his Antartic expedition (look that sucker up if you're ever feeling life is tough). Michael Jackson's (no, not that Michael Jackson) search for the perfect beer. Shackleton did have a run of bad luck but at least he had an ample supply of Bass Ale. -

Geocaching.com logo on beer label ?
The BeeGees replied to The BeeGees's topic in General geocaching topics

Cruzin! Thanks, I had problems posting an image -
I was drinking a beer last night and thought the logo on the label looked a little familiar. Does anyone else see it, or did the 11% alcohol go to my head?

Have you moved to a new home since you started caching?
The BeeGees replied to CYBret's topic in General geocaching topics
We're scheduled to close on our new house in August. It's 27 miles away and we'll be adding 143 caches to our radius. Woo Hoo! Now all we have to do is sell our old house. Incidentally, if anyone's interested in a 4 bedroom Cape in North Jersey...
