  1. 234 and still counting ;-) I'm working on a serie of 6 caches and a bonuscache though. The caches are in place. Just waiting for the last permission and still have to add some pictures to two cache descriptions and they're ready to go.
  2. It's easy. My real name is Maarten, add a few letters here and there and you get Maerthen.
  3. I found 129 caches so far. My first one I think in decmebr last year. Sometimes I search for caches with my dad, sometimes with my wife. When going on holiday or just away for a weekend I always look on google maps if there are some caches in the neigberhood to be found. Just spend two weeks in Austria. Found some caches on some mountaintops. A unique experience, because I live in Holland and that's mostly flat. Lately I tend to combinate two hobby's: Caching and Mountainbiking. It's fun!
  4. Sounds silly. People can interpret DNF in many ways. I've got THOUSANDS of DNF's that I could log. There are 100 caches I haven't found within 4.5 miles of my front door. So why didn't you log all of the DNF's? Because he probably means the caches he hasn't searched for yet.... If I have searched for a cache and couldn't find it I always post a DNF. Sometimes three or more cachers post a DNF in a row. For the owner this can be a sign that the cache is maybe gone and he can go and take a look. Also the more DNF the more likely a cache is more difficult to find (some nano's or micro's are hard to find). If you are a beginner this could be a reason to skip this one for now.
  7. Thank you for you're help. I got some good tips. Should help a newbie like me
  8. I got a puzzle with 4 waypoints. When you draw a line from 1 WP to another for example west to east. And then you draw a line from a second WP to another for example north to south. You get a cross. My question: Is there a way to calculate where the lines meet?
