Empathic Heart

I would say that altitude always matters. There are far too many people out there with bad altitudes.

Well I'm very new to caching myself, but seeing broken junk in a cache is just a total downer, so we are trading up and leaving more than we're taking. I see no problem removing a plastic car with no wheels, broken pencils or pens and the like. Now maybe someone *wants* a wheel-less plastic car but I shudder to think what they might trade for it. I guess if you're replacing broken items, nobody is going to complain...and it's good geokarma so why not?

Okies - I'll play. I'm an empath (though it hasn't helped me with caching, yet anyway) and I also teach Compassionate Communication (aka NVC), which is based on empathy and heart connection with others. Empathic Heart Communication is the name of my biz and I use it for my net handle too. Not very sexy or funny, but there it is. 38 yrs young, today in fact!

We have a '63 Beech Musketeer and fly out of Scappoose OR, near Portland. DH is the pilot (officially) but I fly and often navigate (though with the GPS it's not quite as important). Right now our plane is grounded, but we hope to have it back in the air by summer of 06. We should be cache experts by then. I was actually talking to him about this - we belong to a flying club and I though it would be a total hoot to create an air tour for caching. Every other year the club does an air tour through the northwest anyway, and most of us have GPS units (albeit, some are permanently mounted)...but perhaps next year we will include this with our typical tour.
