A jazzed up geocache document
Zuckerruebensirup replied to JRTTeam's topic in General geocaching topics
I haven't added graphics, but I did modify the standard note for my caches, to include a request to NOT leave food or scented items in the cache, as they tend to attract animals. ------- "I may be slow, but at least I'm sweet!" -

I'd like to see that happen, too. (Or at least to allow cache owners the choice of hiding their coordinates from those who don't sign in.) ------- "I may be slow, but at least I'm sweet!"

New Search Tool - Workin' on it.

And I think a lot of other people will, too. ------- "I may be slow, but at least I'm sweet!" -

My Nomad ROAM*R wants to tour historic Route 66. I don't believe it runs through Utah, but unless you're flying, I'll bet you'll cross that path. Chances are, the Nomad is likely out of your reach between now and then, anyway. ------- "I may be slow, but at least I'm sweet!"

Hmmm...I wonder, has anyone ever seen Jeremy Irish and Mike Meyers at the same time? ------- "I may be slow, but at least I'm sweet!"

Florida State Parks Geocaching Feedback
Zuckerruebensirup replied to Team PCBeach's topic in General geocaching topics
That's very encouraging. I hope to see other parks follow suit. ------- "I may be slow, but at least I'm sweet!" -

NOTE: I am NOT a regular trade item! If you are willing to move me to a new cache, please do the following: 1. Go to www.geocaching.com, and sign on with your user name. (Not registered? It’s free!) 2. Click on “TRACK TRAVEL BUGS” from the list at the left. 3. Enter the tag number in the field below the barcoded spider, and click the arrow. 4. Cache in, Trash Out Motto.
Zuckerruebensirup replied to Seeker BP's topic in General geocaching topics
I notice that there's a Cache In, Trash Out paragraph on the main www.geocaching.com page that says: "Next time you go out to hide or seek out a cache, bring a trash bag along with you! Help clean up our world's forests one cache hunt at a time. If you have a camera, email us a photo of your cleanup and we'll create an online album to share our efforts." However, I haven't been able to find the link to that online album. Has no one sent any pictures? ------- "I may be slow, but at least I'm sweet!" -
I'm really loving my S-10 crew cab. It's 4WD; seats four people fairly comfortably (or five, if you all recently showered, and don't mind a little touchy feely); has a small, but functional box (with bed liner)...AND I can still get in and out of parking spots fairly easily. Life doesn't get much better than that!

You might want to ask BassoonPilot. He seems to keep very close tabs on the stats. ------- "I may be slow, but at least I'm sweet!"

I've been wishing for this same feature for a long time, too...and so far, it's not available yet (that I know of, anyway). I think you have the right idea of looking them up by city. Or, you could look at all the caches in the state, and see which ones appear to fall along your route. Good luck, and have a great trip! ------- "I may be slow, but at least I'm sweet!"
