  1. Got my "First Coin in Orbit" geocoin. Thanks!
  2. Thanks Eli for a great day. Really 3 interceptions and the last one on the six yard line with a minute left in the game. Hopefully, San Fran will lose to keep the one strike lead alive after week five. Sorry Soda Jack for rooting against you.
  3. I lost this week by 3 points thanks to the other team's Jermichal Finley getting 26 points. I lost week one by five points with the other team's Raven Defense getting 21 points. How can I get a break.
  4. I have a spare of the offical BSA 2010 coin for their "Get In The Game" for the new Geocaching Merit badge. Let me know if you are interested in a trade.
  5. The Boy Scout slogan is "Do a good turn daily". As a Boy Scout Assistant Scoutmaster, we try to instill this in the scouts by practicing what we preach. Thanks for this cointest.
  6. Posting to enter this cointest. Thanks for offering up the coin. Don't have that one yet.
  7. Is there anyone from the United States or Canada that is going to Europe for this event. I would like to get my hands on one of these coins plus the astronaut Yuri coin. Just send me an email on what the cost will be. Thanks!
  8. All signed up and entered the league. Hopefully, the draft will be before the Labor Day weekend. I will be out of town. That's probably better for me to have the computer pick anyway so I don't over-think my picks anyway.
  9. signed up and active. Now lets get this preseason garbage over with so we can start playing real ball.
  10. No football team here in Utah to watch so I'm in. Hope Farve stays out this year. He screwed me last year. Da Bears!!!
  11. THE LAMEST IS ... All the great posts were narrowed down to three finalists(post #12-Six Little Spookies, #30-labrat_wr, and #35-mamoreb). Voting took place with my family and friends, both geocachers and muggles. AND THE WINNER IS MAMOREB. Thanks to all that entered. Here is the winning entry. "I really need this coin for comfort. The sun is shining brightly outside, everyone is out having a good time. Unfortunately, I already have a bad allergy day. My head is swollen like a marshmallow, I want to scratch my eyes out, etc. There's no way I could get near all that grass outdoors. Now, if only I had a cat or a dog to play with and cuddle with on this boring indoor day... But I'm allergic to those too! I could probably get some fish, but you know that it is very hard to cuddle with fish. A GEOCOIN, on the other hand! Nice textures to stroke, cheerful colours, cooling material - the perfect pet for an allergic! Now, send me my new pet quickly, before the grass stops blooming! " Congratulations mamoreb!!!!
  12. Sorry Everyone -- I was on a last minute business trip and I just got back. I will have the winner posted on Thursday. Sorry for the delay... boiler-todd.
  13. I just finished watching all the Star Wars adventures in one sitting. I see light sabers in my sleep. When my dog yawns I think of Chewie. Next, I will start on the adventures of Harry Potter this weekend before I see the last one. Who would win in a battle, Luke with his light saber, Jedi mind tricks, and the Force or Harry with his wand and magic. Just wondering...
  14. I am interested in all your Air Power geocoins, the Alien coin, the Geoclub coin October 2007 (Is that the Sputnik one?), and the F-14 Tomcat coin. Do you have pictures as I can't find any online of what they look like. Please email me. Thanks, boiler-todd

  18. Got mine today. They look awesome. Thanks.
  19. This cointest is the result of me being one of the three winning entries in the "What would you do?" cointest, where I won one of EyeD10T's awesome “Home is Where the Cache Is”, Series 2 geocoins. One of the terms for winning the Cointest, is that we would actually run our cointest idea. So, here it is! The Really Lame Story Cointest. I would like to see a cointest where people come up with a really really lame reason(s) or story why they need to have this geocoin. For example, I just got divorced and my ex-wife took half my geocoin collection. I am trying to replenish my stock. OR... I was abducted by aliens when I was out geocaching in the woods. After they were done probing me they sent me back to earth but they kept my backpack that had all my geocoins in it. The Rules: This cointest will run from July 8, 2011 to July 31, 2011 at 6am PST. The winner of the cointest will receive the second “Home is Where the Cache Is” geocoin, in gold finish, that EyeD10T sent me to run the cointest, Only two entries per account name, please. Let's not be greedy. My family, some work friends, and I will judge the entries. No whining about the story I pick. My tastes and sense of humor may not be the same as yours. You’re just winning a Geocoin not $1,000. Again, Thanks EyeD190T for the award. This is my first attempt at running a cointest. Please let me know if I am missing anything. Good Luck and be creative!
  20. Can I get an invite please. Thanks!
  21. How does this mystery person get a cacher's address? Do they use Santa's list of who is Naughty or Nice?
  22. Thanks for the cointest. I can't believe that I'm actually one of the winners. There was some really great suggestions. Thanks again.
  23. I would like to see a cointest where people come up with a really really lame reason(s) why they need to have this geocoin. For example, I just got divorced and my exwife took half my geocoin collection. I am trying to replenish my stock. OR... I was abducted by aliens when I was out geocaching in the woods. After they were done probing me they sent me back to earth but they kept my backpack that had all my geocoins in it. I would pick the top five stories then have everyone on line vote once to get the winning story.
  24. I see that there is a Copper one and a Gold one currently on eBay. Buy It Now for $25 and $29, respectively. They are not mine. I got this one from someone selling off some coins on this forum. They are nice.
