  1. Many thanks for your replies and input - there are indeed points to consider I hadn't thought of. I will have to consider a plan B, and see which option seems better.
  2. Hi all, I had a little question concerning lab caches (I was a little surprised I was nominated, and am now wondering my first thought is good). In the guide, it is mentioned "Set up the Adventure so that all Locations can be visited within two (2) hours, ideally walkable." I was first thinking about a tour of five museums in my city - but while this can be done in two hours by car and probably by bike, it would definitely go over 2h on foot or by public transport (due to the frequency of buses towards two of the museums). And this does not include possible visits. So, I am wondering if I should still go on with my idea (as the locations provide a cultural interest) and not regard the timing so much, or rather look for another concept? These lab caches are still rather new to me... NB: for clarification - I do not intend to make any question inside the museums but in front of them. I would want to bring people to the location, not force them to visit or pay a fee.
  3. Same problem for me. (Two finds on March 6th which weren't updated on the profile, but they are actually counted among my statistics.) I don't mind it very much, but I am still curious, if there is something to do about it.
  4. Hy, Many thanks for the answers. It seems more logical now. I guess I will have to write the one who took the tb, and hope for the best. The colleague already moved some trackables, so I'll see. And well, maybe it finally moves fast - and even if not, several of my tbs were lost and/or stuck, and then suddenly took the road again. Thanks again, Giorgis
  5. Hy all, I just wanted to ask one little thing. One of my travelbugs (actually TB48DP9 in case of) was discovered (and given the log it was picked up) by a geocacher. The problem is, his profile says, he last logged in on January 14th. Did something like ever happened to anyone of you? I suppose I should write him to ask if he did indeed pick it up, and eventually correct the log... but I first wanted to ask, if someone saw this already. (I usually don't worry to much about my trackables, this one is of course an exception.)
  6. I know I might 'hijack' the thread slightly, as I wanted to add a question. I actually had the same problem, as I couldn't downlad the caches as I usually did, and couldn't download the v4.0.1.1 beta. (After several tries the check always indicated v4.0.1.0, and the download problem remained.) But I noticed one thing: the download problem remained on Firefox (which I tend do use first), but when trying Safari I could suddenly download the cache from the website as usual. So I am wondering if this is the case for other Mac users too. (I hope I may use the thread, as I wanted to add this to the first question.)
  7. Sure. Writing him was the first thing I did, btw. And many thanks for your answers.
  8. Ok, sounds quite clear. But just to be completely sure... The last log of the TB was in the Netherlands, though I retreived in Turkey (yup, it made quite some kms unnoticed ). At the moment, the log looks like if I picked the TB in the Netherlands. If I understood well - with adding the note to the cache where I found it - the log of the TB should show something like: Giorgis picked the TB in cache XXX in the Netherlands, Giorgis dropped TB in cache YYY in Turkey, Giorgis picked TB in cache YYYY in Turkey (and as a future log: Giorgis drops TB in cache ZZZZ in Swıtzerland)? It might sound sılly that I appear four times, this should help to correct the TB's dıary somehow , if I understood well. :S
  9. Hy, I am sorry to come up with such a question, but I couldn't really find an answer. I just found a TB which was reported as missing (I seriously suppose, some user was simply not entering his finds on the net, as some logbook entries weren't registered on the net either). But in a hurry to register the find, to let the owner know his TB wasn't lost, I might have messed the log up a little, and chose "pick it from somewhere else", or at least I thought so (I am not experienced yet with TBs). In short, is there a way to link the log entry to the cache where I found it? And if yes, would I have to delete my log entry? Giorgis
